BRIEF HISTORY OF WWR SUPERSETS
Ash on Q&A #10 24.11.2013
Ash on Q&A #16 12.01.2014
What’s in the set?
Ash has had lots of different ideas for sets, but the latest info was, that we'll get Iron Panda and WF sets. And only IP set "layout" has been announced.
Ash on Q&A #20 09.02.2014
Ash on Q&A #23 16.03.2014
Ash on Q&A #25 06.04.2014
When will they be available?
Short answer: NOBODY knows. But it is still coming. You just need patience. Lots of patience.

What will Iron Panda Superset cost?
A lot. Here's my unofficial calculations:
≈ $670 - $693 [unofficial estimate]
(based on previous super-expensive sets like MK3 4-pack or JEA MIM superset - Price consist of individual prices combined, minus circa 7-10% "set-discount")
= $570 - $590 (with 3AA -15% discount)
individual item prices at Bambaland (with release dates)
$300 Bramble (2015.02.15)
$35 Square (2009.05.25)
$240 1G Armstrong (2011.07.14)
$50 Square MK2 (2011.06.09)
$120 Grunt (2011.02.16) Note! Grunt 1.5 (/2.0) could be more expensive.
= $745
Here's a version of mock-up image Idid back in September 2014. Time flies.
Ash on Q&A #10 24.11.2013
Good ol Panda, one of the classic Corps, I think a set would be cool, does anyone want that ?
Ash on Q&A #16 12.01.2014
Ok, I was thinking we need another set, maybe Jungler, maybe an unseen colorway. Tell gimby, he can then pass on what the mood is!
What’s in the set?
Ash has had lots of different ideas for sets, but the latest info was, that we'll get Iron Panda and WF sets. And only IP set "layout" has been announced.
Ash on Q&A #20 09.02.2014
Panda gone Rogue superset is 1xClassic Square, 1xSquare long leg, 1xPanda Soldier, 1x Original Bramble, 1x1G Armstrong
WF used them all, because they have access to all, they are not a simple corp, but, a ROTHCHILD CORP, they are one of Rothchilds ground divisions, always have been! In the Evol story they take centre stage! The EVOL WF superset really should be one of each robot ever, but maybe too big, you tell me ? BUT THATS A FUCKING SUPER SET!
Ash on Q&A #23 16.03.2014
This is how Im gonna do it, I know you guys want different sets, so I’ll offer them all( as in colorways), if enough support it gets made! easy! The fact that you guys buy off my mangy sketches is a great compliment, never fails to make me chuffed, I'm honored
When you say layout, you mean load out as in what robots in the set. If so, yes I want to mix it up, have two of something, add in Brambes, Berties and LM etc.. Iron Panda soon, see you IP supporters are up for a challenge!
The bloody sample is AWOL, I'm moving a load of stuff this cooling week and hope to find it, I want to offer it [IP] and a WF set asap, I know some of you want it!
Ash on Q&A #25 06.04.2014
1/6th right ? Well the WFP and IRON PAND STRIKE sets will have a Grunt 1.5 in them, no reason we cant offer that in other colorways!
[Bramble comes with] Gatling!
When will they be available?
Short answer: NOBODY knows. But it is still coming. You just need patience. Lots of patience.
Ash on Q&A #25 06.04.2014
Well we have some Supersets combos and options in May, ill use that to gauge the interest!
Ash on Q&A 23.04.2014
June for the [IP] sale I believe, WF is the other one!
Ash on Q&A #29 10.05.2014
Soon as we can, promise!
Ash on Q&A #37 14.09.2014
Soon as the samples are made, I know it sounds old, but we are so few trying to make so much, the production line for samples is long!
3A Blog on 13.11.2014
5th week (31st Dec) - WWR Set
gregory on 20.03.2015
It'll happen, its a matter of getting an open window with the factory and getting the samples together which can seriously take crazy amounts of time

There's no "usually"... Only one Superset has been released so far, the Meat Is Murder JEA, in both 1/6th and 1/12th scale. It had a dropcloth in it:

You can also check out all 3A releases from extensive Catalogue on official 3A Blog:
http://www.worldofthreea.com/catalog/
World War Robot releases are spread out in five different categories: WWR VOL1, WWR VOL2, WWR VOL3, WWRp and 3AGO
(I personally find it VERY confusing that term WWR means two things: 1. World War Robot in general (as an universe) 2. 1/6 scale...)

I really think that the 4square is the final test for IP fans. If that one does not sell well, we better kiss goodbye to the super set...

Yup, such a shame.
And especially since he's had and lost the prototype for well over a year now.

Re: WWR superset
Yeah, WWR used to be a flagship for 3A but it's kinda the monster over in the corner now.
Still big and beastly, but not the center of attention by any means.
It's really turned into such a huge world that I just don't get how you can judge the popularity of the whole line by any one release. With the "faction building" approach, etc, you might only get a certain number of supporters coming out for a drop of one particular colorway.
I get that the bots are an r&d intensive and costly endeavor for 3A, much more so than creating on the 12inch "male/female" platform. I just wish there was a way to actually show Ash the support prior to a sale in some meaningful way. He keeps asking, "Do you guys want it?",... I mean, we've done polls, lists, etc... just wonder if there is some better way, ya know?

There is no r&D cost in releasing designs in existing colorways ... less profitability perhaps then a 12' fig .. however once the bot is released in one colourway .. the more colorways released should be more profitable .. I mean it is just paint apps in variation .. think it is more a view on x number of collectors with y dollars per month .. even that does not really hold up if I am strictly a WWR collector .. so whom knows .. Ash ?

Ref latest newsletter on "show support", YES 3A I WANT AN IRON PANDA SUPERSET x 100000000000000.
Re: WWR superset
What? No superset? Say it ain't so. I was really looking forward to EITHER of these. IP or WF would fit right in with my collection so far.
