So it is just a part of the molding process and nothing to worry about?

Just think of it as a dent, Bertie must have been running and smacked into something pretty hard.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
It's because the vinyl for that middle piece is much softer than the top and bottom sections. When you heat it this will be noticable. Also it has to support the weight of the arms on the sides. In addition, there is an internal suction created when you assemble those vinyl pieces together. I don't know if that made any sense, but that's what I'm telling myself after I took the Bertie apart trying to see if I can mod a walking cannon or maybe a shorter bot. I think I'll just end up selling the bot. Not much of a Bertie fan.

No pack here in OK, but how can i contact DHL to see if they have even attempted to deliver...they never leave slips or anything. I usually have to find them. Any ideas?

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
They should have called you letting you know the day they were going to deliver. At least that's what they did for me. Left a message on my machine. Since it required a signature, if I had a problem with that to leave a note on my door with the tracking number or something or other and they would leave the package at my door. Something like that anyway.

i got a message on my phone the day before delivery with tracking number. maybe try and get the tracking number via CS so you can then call DHL and use that to find out where box is?

I am in the same situation, many people in the area already got their and still no msg, text or slips here from DHL.
According to another legionnaire on FB, multiple requests to CS for tracking number just netted their response to be patient and keep waiting
Do let us know if you get anything different from CS.

Got my Membership set yesterday. I just got home and opened it up. IMO I think the NOM Commanders are the stars of this set.

Got my set today. It's fantastic. JJ is hilarious and I love it. Here's a few quick pics of the NOM stuff. Will collect these and a bunch more of the rest together for a full write-up soon!
Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
Heads up for people still waiting for info from DHL on the 3AA pack.
They are indeed shipping in batches, and if you are like me unwilling to wait blindly, do this:
Call DHL, tell them you need to look up a tracking number from HK, provide your name and receiving postal code (may possibly ask for more) and voila tracking number!
BTW the above worked for US, not sure if it can for other countries.
Definitely worth a try though!

Loving the 3AA set. Finally a nice quality shirt from 3A! The Bertie and the Commanders are fantastic, JJ just is what he is, the presentation and the box are quite nice, but the print just seems off somehow. It looks muddy, maybe printed badly or something. The same image on the back of the membership card is printed in vivid color... Anybody else having these thoughts?

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
Is the belt configuration on the 3AGO Bertie new? I really like how they tied up the pouches so they don't fall off! None of my older figures are like this! It's like I always say 3A just keeps improving! Hopefully this design is standard issue now!
Please be understanding I did not become a true 3A'er until December 24, 2014 when I made the purchase of DIRTY DEEDS V2 RELEASE ONE so I am not exactly an expert on 3A releases before that time. Before the glorious age of WWR SOTF dawned upon us I just had random releases from different years and none of them had this superior belt configuration.
Just want to complain about my 3AGO NOM Commanders. On one of my guys the pistol doesn't holster all the way so the strap can't fit over it unless I put it at a weird angle that does not entirely cover the velcro which will expose it to dust and ruin it!. Of course the solution is to put the pistol in his hand then close the holster properly.
I'm not too big on the human figures in general anyway it's all about the robots for me. I love this 3AGO Bertie and I can not wait for the new ones! Did you hear they are making a 3AGO of ZvR Warbot? I hope he comes with RPG! I CAN'T WAIT! I HATE SOFT GOODS CLOTHING ON DOLLS AND FIGURES I HATE IT SO MUCH IT JUST COLLECTS DUST AND YOU CAN'T JUST CLEAN IT OFF LIKE ON A COMPLETELY SOLID FIGURE! YES THAT'S RIGHT I ADMIT IT I HATE THE DOLL CLOTHES! But I must collect the unique and varied designs of the genius Ashley Wood regardless of this.
Also the print sucks I mean when they said print I was expecting a really white smooth thick glossy photo type paper thing but it's on this weird textured paper you use for like charcoal drawing or something and it looks all faded like what everyone else already bitched about! What the hell do I know I don't collect prints! I COLLECT TOYS FROM THE WORLD'S GREATEST TOY COMPANY! YOU'RE NEVER ALONE WHEN YOU HAVE 3A TOYS! OH YEAH 3A IS THE MASTER RACE HAHA YEAH BABY!

Vince the joy of 3a's weathering means that even if they're covered in dust it just looks natural. I rarely (more like never) dust mine and they look weathered/battle worn. Which is what got me into 3a, robots & humans alike although you may want to avoid squeaky clean NW/DW etc.
You're one of us now, just give into it.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
Do I need to buy a medium 3AA shirt from someone? I saw a video where a man was wearing his 3AA 2015 shirt and boy did I get triggered! My shirt is too small and CS wouldn't help me... I'll email them again! But if I do get the shirt and decide to wear it won't the shirt eventually get ruined from use? I'm freaking out here guys! What if I get the 3AA 2016 set? I'll ask for the right size shirt then for sure but my 3AA 2015 set will have the wrong shirt size THEY WILL LACK CONSISTENCY! PLEASE HELP ME I AM IN CRISIS! I thought I was done being OCD about things but seeing the radtoyreview guy wearing his shirt was too much for me to bare...
But if the dust gets on the velcro it won't stick anymore...Skipper11x wrote:Vince the joy of 3a's weathering means that even if they're covered in dust it just looks natural. Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
Received my set today, here are some thoughts:
The packaging is nice as usual. I love that nice, thick material ThreeA uses for their boxes, lovely feel to it. Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of how the foam was layered in the box. Removing the upper tray is tricky without having things spill out everywhere, some thumb holes would have been helpful.
As for the contents, overall I think this is a good little set, but nothing to really write home about. The Commanders look great and the Bertie is nicely executed, though a little plain for my tastes. Even the TK head is nice and expressive, though I wish it would have come with a body attached to it... The signed print is a little disappointing, at least my copy. Ash's signature is unusually small, and on mine it looks like the marker he was using was running out of ink... I like the older Ash signatures that take up the whole damn picture in a blaze of inky glory!
Overall I can't really be that upset with the set, everything is done well... its just that its one of those situations where I wish there was one really nice thing instead of 4 or 5 okay things. I don't intend on collecting 3AGO figures seeing that I have a fantastic 1/6th collection, so nothing in here interests me. Honestly, I would trade everything in the set for a 1/6th version of that Bertie or any 1/6th bot really.
...which is why I sold my set about a week after I bought it, and used the funds to buy the second Dirty Deeds Bertie. So I guess I did get my wish.
