Re: Little Shadow
Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback, but I'm not really too concerned about it. I'm more bothered about the wrist peg.

Yep, the white scuff marks are intended weathering so to speak. But if the vinyl is showing through the black paint, then I'd have a problem with that.

Re: Little Shadow
Just opened my On The Run 2-Pack. Right wrist peg broken off on mine. Always makes your heart sink a little to open a new figure and see a roaming broken piece. Not good at fixing things like this so gonna contact CS first and go from there. May need some advice on how to fix depending on their response.
P.S. Red Panda seems ok nothing feels broken, although I am afraid to take the suit off and look lol. No Cherry Bomb delivered here yet.

Yeah, I agree with this. 3A weathering has always had 'scuff' marks and intentional 'imperfections' in the paint, as that's part of the weathering design that we are known for. Chivo is right, though, if the entire paint is rubbed or chipped off so that the naked sculpt underneath it is showing, like we saw back on the early Yama Naga figures' faces from their zippers, that would certainly be an issue.Chivo wrote:Yep, the white scuff marks are intended weathering so to speak. Re: Little Shadow
Both the left wrist and upper arm joint broke very easily on mine. The reply I got back from CS:
"Dear Customer:
Noted the case, we will ask the maintenance team to check the replacement whole arm.
If available, we will send to you.
Please provide the information as follow:
1. addressee
2. shipping address
Best Wishes
3A CS"
So in the mean time I have made a running repair in hope that new parts arrive at some point. What I did YamiQ:
Glued the upper sections together with Super glue. For the wrist. The hand had a bit of the peg remaining, so I drilled out the remains of the peg from the end of the arm. A fine drill bit would be best, but I just used a scalpel with a sharp point and rotated it. I then glued the hand to the end of the wrist, with the bit of peg going into the hole, again with Super glue. Obviously there is now no articulation, but it will do as a running repair.

Same count here as well.
BTW her box art illustrated 5 grenades on the shoulder straps, so hatchery gave exactly that much.

Perhaps hatchery didn't get the memo?

Re: Little Shadow
Just wondering if anyone else has heard back from 3A Customer Service about their Little Shadow broken wrist peg situation?

Re: Little Shadow
ah, not just me then. I waited till after Chinese New year and then chased up again about a week ago, but no reply yet. Just feel that with the number of complaints about broken wrist pegs that the situation would have been sorted sooner

Re: Little Shadow
They're in the production schedule to make the replacements, no ETA as to when they'll be ready. Problem is the whole arm has to be made and sent out.

More Family Coup Sadness, Umbra
Soooooo,
In eager anticipation for my replacement foot for my Red Panda Merc, I cracked open my Always Umbra, deciding she can join the ranks of my other 10" TQ RC. Left hand broke off almost instantly. This was especially depressing because my first ever ThreeA figure was Penumbra that I bought off EBizzle which was a brutal introduction into ThreeA joint management. I cannot express how much i love the 10" line, but is anyone else having this many issues? I always use a blow dryer and hot water before moving any stiff joints, I'm no veteran but i feel especially unlucky.
I have sorrow

Re: Little Shadow
Sorry to hear, joshooouh.
That's very sad.
I fear you have to contact CS again after the weekend, with pics of the figures and the dismembered body part.
I have a couple of 10" figures but haven't experienced any wrist issues (yet), so I have no idea what the status is regarding these problem.

Re: Little Shadow
Hopefully we can get some kind of status update on these soon, as it's been over 5 months with no word. Broken wristpegs on the 10" shadows seemed to be a pretty widespread problem at the time.

I'm still waiting for Rabbit Tamer arm replacement. Her hand broke off right away too.

I missed out on Rabbit Tamer, I have been looking all over the place for one. Thats unfortunate that she's got the same issue. It's weird because my TQ RC chicks have the same pegs and they are solid. It's gotta be a QC thing for the newer 10" figs.
