Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
WHAT THE F***? I JUST checked tracking and it says "Ready for pickup". Is my PRIME already here? Seriously? Like...HOLY CRAP!! Snow Widow is going on 2 weeks already and probably 3-5 days more.
Man I really hope my tracking is correct.

Son of a bitch. Tracking actually says Oct 30th. Stupid ass mail delivery shithead didn't even come to my door nor leave a tag. I was off ALL day. Probably put the tag in my mailbox (those suburban ones about 40ft from my house)

Remember to post pics!! Can't wait to have mine in hand as well. Bought batteries as well, 8xAG13 but dollar store has 5xAG13 for 1.50 a pack. They work well enough too.Oneluckyboy wrote:Ah yeah! looks like Prime arrived today!

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO~!~!!! FUCK NO!!
I had him posed with DOTM Prime and I was trying to rotate his leg and THIS happened.
BE CAREFUL. The hip ball joint for that leg is SUPER not moving tight and led to this very very sad moment. I need to contact CS.
I did get a couple shots before I noticed and it fully twisted off
CS, HELP

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
OH FUDGE............................ yeah...i notices how tight the joints felt and it made me really nervous.
I would also be keen to buying an extra set of hands if available. No breakage..but they do feel like they could twist off at any moment. Â Im so sorry Joshimus.
On a positive note. Gregory..you guys nailed it. This is one of the most beautiful Prime figs I have ever seen. Incredibly dynamic and feels "alive". pat yourselves on the back for this one.

So, the ball is soooo tight, when I try to rotate the ball, i'm unable to. I slightly rotate the joint, which is probably what I was originally rotating before it broke, but the ball end will NOT budge, not even a little. Worse than a Neca joint. I may try to heat it up. If I can make the ball joint loose maybe I can glue the other end on and kind of fix it. Maybe. Or at least until hopefully I get a replacement.

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
I really hate that for you man. I know CS will make it good..maybe they can just send you a new Leg? Could you attach a new one yourself?

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
For me to fix it I need to make the ball permanently loose but not wobbly so that it never forces the joint to move. Glue is only so strong. I can try sticking a metal pin in it but I don't think it will hold unless the ball itself is still relatively loose. If anything, I would need the entire hip as a replacement. I guess it depends on how it's all connected inside or even if I can open Prime up and fix it.Oneluckyboy wrote:I really hate that for you man. I dunno what CS will do, hopefully something good as this aint cheap. I'll keep people updated. I sent an email last night.
I do know that whatever fix I manage to do, it's not gonna be solid and hold as well. My fix is a bandaid, assuming I can fix the ball joint issue. Seriously, that ball aint moving. Hopefully a heat gun will help.

Hmm, certainly makes me hesitant to even get mine. Very disconcerting...

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
The rest is 100% fine. Just BE CAREFUL with the hip ball joint and heat it if it doesn't move off the bat. It's still pretty amazing, although smaller than DOTM Prime. Thought they'd be similar in size.Cthulhu wrote:Hmm, certainly makes me hesitant to even get mine. Very disconcerting...

Waiting to hear back from the engineer about this

Opened mine up, love him. However, that left leg was super stiff. Seems okay for now.

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
Engineer recommends priming the joint by carefully rotating it out several times

I can't, even if mine was still attached. It's SUPER stuck. Gonna try a heat gun for 15 seconds or so when I get home and see if that may help others just in case. First gotta suffer through this work day then enjoy Thor: Ragnarok then homegregory wrote:Engineer recommends priming the joint by carefully rotating it out several times

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
Same. If I could have used my 3AA and bought direct from Bambaland, I would have bought Nemesis as well, regardless of my current sad Prime situation...which hopefully I will hear from CS sometime in the future as I still have not.Cthulhu wrote:If nemesis was cheaper, or I could use my 3aa on it. No news yet. Hopefully some info soon. I seem to be sprouting a LOT of badluck as of late.Oneluckyboy wrote:Hope you get info soon Josh - I was just checking in to see how it's all going.
My Hot Toys Wonder Womans arm mechanism broke and with the skinning I can't fix it. Just can apart. No idea how or why.
I just bought the R/C Justice League Ultimate Batmobile and one of the gatteling guns is wrong. Basically, two of the same guns when the batmobile has 2 different slots to plug them in to. Called Mattel and they don't have replacements. Basically gotta put that on TRU instead...possibly.
Prime's Leg although he is standing in my display case...using it to lean.

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
In all likelihood you'll be instructed to ship back to CS for them to repair, which I know is an absolute pain, but they'll fix him
