TK Hunter looks amazing but I have one major worry about it. Look at those thin ankle joints/pegs. How can they hold up such a massive and heavy bot?? Remember people had trouble with trying to keep the Heavy Bramble standing and in some cases the ankles gave way completely, resulting in the Bramble having to be supported standing. In the present guise I see major QC issues ahead. I want this figure badly but not without this issue being addressed.

Those ankles look way too thin alright. I can see posing being limited or maybe end up using the long arm for support. Very nice bot though.
I like your optimism about QC being addressed first, that's not the 3a way, sell em, ship them then worry about the rest later.

Been waiting for this since I got the the first severed bot head in my hand back in 2009. I think it turned out great! With poncho on, it looks smaller and fits really nicely with 1/6th scale figures. Without it, it could be fit with any scale...

Just personal opinion, scale wise, like Harold FS, this behemoth would look nice with a action portable.

notice not much articulation on the legs. Wonder if it would fall over if knee joints bent a bit?

I wonder when this will be released.
How much it will cost and if this will be the only colorway.

it's been a long wait, but worth it, looking at how much it has improved in one year... I'm so glad that that clean bright almost lemon yellow is gone!

TK HUNTER discussion - Page 5 TkHunter_Comparison_zpsk1m3qwqs

edit: It's been TWO YEARS since it was revealed. Long time to settle for the right colour! Very Happy but seriously - I guess it's sculpts of those shoulder pads that taken all this time

Could the colour be almost the same just the play of lighting that gives it a darker orange shade.
Anyway can't wait for it to be launch. Renewed 2015 membership thinking hunter will be in sale last year, was very excited when 3a list it as ine if the releases. But turn out not to be the case. Since i renew my 2016 membership, hope 3a don't disappoint again by not launching it 4 sale.

I really need to save up for this, I know its unknown when the sale will drop but this figure will be insane.  I know for sure it will be a centerpiece for any collection next to that huge loper bot head.

Do we have a rough estimate on what the cost may be?  I know it will be expensive because of all the material being used and the shipping cost alone because of the weight.  Still though, eagerly waiting for this release

Here's what Gregory has mentioned about the price:

gregory wrote:Lean towards the higher end of the spectrum on the price scale. It's massive and heavy

The price hasn't been determined, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up around $500 or more

I think the price of threezero titanfall
Series will be a good price indication. Must remember
That titanfall cost still hve to add on paying of licencing fees
Whereas hunter is not a licenced product and so
Hopefully price is either lower or at most the same.

Yeah, hope it isn't over exorbitantly priced or I'll have to forgo it sadly. Looks super rad though.

It's really hard to collect expensive 3A pieces nowadays. There's too much good competition out there. Saving up for a TK Hunter would mean skipping 3 to 4 non-ThreeA figures... and between 1000Toys, DevilToys, ThreeZero and some others I don't know if this is in the cards for me...

I wish they would give us a heads up on price a few months prior to release so we can save up. Either that they keep a set date for maybe 2 months with it up on bamba so we can figure out financials on the beast. If they would just communicate this to us they might have better sales then expected.

^I like this idea, even if it were 1 month notice and a month on Bambaland I'd be happy with that.

That's not the 3a way. It'll drop with no notice then you have 24hrs to get the money together then Ash will say they aren't making any more colourways due to poor sales. I'm cool, I have resigned myself to the fact that it will be around $400-$500 and outta my league anyway but a heads up always helps with any sale. I've lost count of how many times I blew my budget somewhere else then threea announces a sale a few days later (once a matter of hours even).

I agree that the price may be high and there are many new toy companies that have sprout out giving us many choices. However, I will still think that this would be a worthwhile purchase as it is the only full figure adversary of the TKs.

That used to be how 3A worked. There would often be 1 to 2 week announcements that had the date of sale and often the time of the release. One would think that simple courtesies like this would be common of any company. But 3A ain't any company...

I just have no clue on where this will go with price...
It could be just nuts because of the brand new sculpts and the sheer size and scale, or maybe there is a nice surprise like with Worlds Best Robots...
I'm prepared to be scared though.
