Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Like Argentix, I think that Ash does not want to put Iron Panda in the spot light like some of his other "children". its like the kool child that never got attention from its parents. But at some point, he will have to compromise. The super set is the first step, and I am very very much appreciate 3A and Ash himself for it. If this set sell well enough, I think we could all expect to see more Iron pandas to join the game. The day I see a Cesar in Iron Panda colourway, I will offer one of my 3A figure for free. Damn! I said it! That shows how much I want that guy!!!

I kinda hope they retire the Medic line. Just need one more to have them all. No more room!

No way man! Medic rules! Plus we still need some Berties and Dropcloth Mk1.5s to add to the mix!

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
How come we're not seeing any of these on ebay or bst? I thought there'd be a flood! Don't think I've seen one yet except for GID

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Any of the bigger bots average people tend to be more precious about ordering, and the flipper types don't order in flipping quantities because it's a crap shoot on whether they'd ever even see it back in the aftermarket or not. Plus shipping on the big boxes gets pricey. So unless they are hated and everyone dumps theirs, bigger bots tend to stay put from what I've seen.

Exactly. This cycle was by the books. Only reason why I didn't wait to buy second hand.
Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Got my GID today and it is sexy. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the legs don't glow nearly a third as bright as the body, might be because they are made from a different material (body and legs are feel different). I guess the body is vinyl and the legs are whatever they are.
The GID is nice and glows strong.

So has anyone recently bought a Mighty from CS? Are they confirmed all sold out?

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
I'm not sure if this has been addressed, but didn't see it skimming the thread. Those concerned about the sinking ball joint problem on these should put their worries at ease. It seems 3A has added a peg that runs from the top of the joint plug to the roof of the body which should keep the body from sinking and deforming significantly over time.
How did I find this out? Well, that's less pleasant. Like an idiot I had my GID Bomb Mighty proudly displayed on the top of one of my shelves, when I somehow knocked into the shelf (still not sure how) and he took a rather characteristic plunge where he partially detonated on the floor. After popping he leg back on and reassuring myself that the two bomb fins could be easily glued back on, I then discovered that the body had cracked along the two groves along the top of the body and across the front of where the bomb pedestal reaches the body. While I have a full view of the new peg, his body seems to have deformed a bit and he's being rather difficult about putting his guts back in. Moral of this story, don't put yours unrestrained on a high shelf or it'll do what bombs do best.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
I want to take the bomb off mine. That support may just be on the Mighty Bomb Square. My one's still sitting precariously on the shelf. I better add some blu-tac or something some day...
I picked him over a Brom mighty, so sometimes I get this regret looking at the GiD. Although I know I'd feel the exact same if I did the other way round. And when I look at my Dutch mighty, I think I need to put him with the rest of the crew, but I so need a standalone mighty. They look so good and I didn't get enough.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
I just noticed there are almost no mighty squares on ebay from this wave, except GID and gravedigger... is it because no on bought them? Normally ebay floods with each new release once they ship. Was hoping to get a meow square, but looks like I'll never see one!

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
here's the answer:
it's meaning maybe 90-95% mightys owner is collector not flipper

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
True, good points. Oh well, maybe i'll find the small meow... though it's probably rarer than the big one!
But there's not just flippers selling - often people buy and then change their minds when it arrives, but apparently not when it comes to these guys!

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
That's why the gravedigger got put up, I bought him with the intention of keeping him, but I didn't like the decal changes between the prototype and the final, so off he goes.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Same thing happened with Nabler Guys, only saw a handful sell on the BST once they were in hand, and they sold for retail or less.
Then on Ebay a few more sold for around $200 each. And NOT the rarest colorways, mind you.
Mighties, i saw 6 or 8 being offered on the BST for retail or near-retail, and all sold as soon as in-hand pics started posting, some even before that (preorder style) and haven't seen a single Mighty since.
I was considering selling my P18 MAID because i didn't like the changes made to it, but so far i'm keeping it on account of the rarity of these squares. Seems like ANY Mighty is rare, though of course some are rarer than others (MEOW).

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Doesn't matter what is rare, I think only guys that bought them would have been the people that wanted them.
Except the GiD mighty, which is a surprise, and F5ers get him without thinking about it. They are probably the most common, and prolly in many other drops too.
