That is an impressive display Wooly and I love the WWR book as a stand, I might have to borrow that idea.

Re: WWR General Toy Discussion
Just another question for my general knowledge:
As far as edition sizes go, does anyone happen to know the top 3 or 4 1/6 wwr figures with the lowest edition sizes? I know most are published on the threea catalog but there are so many figures to look for. Just wondering if anyone happens to know off the top of their head.
I know the hatchery guard large martin has some insanely low number like 15 or something!

There is an issue with edition size numbers and WWR.
First a top
Hatchery Guard Large Martin - 25 pcs
Lunar Defence Armstrong White Engineer - 40 pcs
Nom de Plume - 50 pcs
Nightwatch Bramble MK2 (Black Guard) Chase Figure - 50 pcs
Daywatch Large Martin Chase Figure - 50 pcs
Nightwatch Large Martin Chase Figure - 50 pcs
HK Venture Exclusive A Man From N.O.M. "Thrice Naut" Shadow Commander - 50 pcs
HK Venture Exclusive A Man From N.O.M. "Post Fire" Shadow Commander - 50 pcs
Sideshow Exclusive WWR Lunar Defence Armstrong Suicide Club - 50 pcs
Noir de Plume - 75 pcs.
We know some releases were limited or very limited surprise drops.
However we don't know how limited both titles are.
limited available could also mean it was available in certain time frames during the usual 24 hour drop.
Certainly a couple of regular releases have been rare as well.
However we don't know which colorway(s)
WWR HaroldFS drop had 15 colorways and a couple of smallest edition sizes of all regular WWR releases according to Ashley in 2013.
Mighty Square drop in 2014 had 26 colorways some had a rather pretty uncommon colorway.

Re: WWR General Toy Discussion
Blanc and DIY de Plume were editions of 75 I believe, but were never for sale, only gifted.
I heard some of the Harolds and Mighty Square colorways had edition sizes in the teens (or less) just because no one preordered them.

Thanks for the replies!
In the teens? Damn. And I thought my white engineer was rare...

With ThreeA finishing up will the sales number list ever be released? I'd love to know how rare some of my stuff is, not that I'd ever sell any of them.

It is rare.
The value of these toys isn't in the edition size.
All threeA WWR robot colorways have rather low edition size numbers,
probably hardly any of them exceeding 500 pieces, maybe some Dropcloth and square colorways.
Some releases just made break even.
Robots are hard to sell, except huge franchises like Transformers.
Cherish your White Engineer.
He's one of the best.
In my opinion paint app and weathering of the Harolds and Mighty Squares isn't as good as most other WWR robot releases.
Not a fan of the use of gloss paint on some of these and some of the colours are off compared to previous releases and some are a decal mess.
Maybe it has to do with the large number of colorways.
I doubt it.Skipper11x wrote:With ThreeA finishing up will the sales number list ever be released? I'd love to know how rare some of my stuff is, not that I'd ever sell any of them.
I Would love to add the production numbers to the various releases, I think.
Maybe via Kim. He might have the exact numbers, but I fear these are trade secrets, maybe even thrown on the pile of total production numbers.

Re: WWR General Toy Discussion
Yeah,...with the Caesars being the first mega multi-faction sale, they seemed to draw alot of interest. But in the end, like you said, the reality is that there are probably very low totals for each of those amazing big bots.
Try looking for a Gravedigger Caesar on secondary right now and you'll see what I mean.
I'm glad to have pulled in what I do have and have some urges to try and hunt down others. Trying to ignore the regrets with the reality being that what is out there is what it is and there won't be anymore for some time.
Of the 1/6 bots, true WWR , I have:
1 Armstrong 1G | 1 Heavy Bramble | 1 DD Bertie mk2 | 1 dome top Caesar| 1 flat top Caesar | 3 Dropcloths | 1 Dropcloth 1.5mu
As I was getting tighter on budget I tried not to double up on bigger bot types and keep to my squads while going for all types. Totally should've grabbed a Harold. And the Suicide Squad Armstrong is looking like a figment of my imagination at this point as far as ever having the chance to grab one. I'd break my "duplicates" rule for him for sure.

Re: WWR General Toy Discussion
1/6 scale= true WWR, I totally agree.
I'm sure everyone here has plenty of regrets about missed opportunities but unlike Pokémon you can't catch em all.
I was there for the Caesar, Harold & Mighty sales and while I did get what I wanted would always love more. Since then I now have 3 Caesars, 2 Mightys & 2 Harold's so happy with my stash. WWR is what drew me in and still holds most interest for me.

Not to derail this thread with Paschas, lol, but I think the Miyu that I'm looking for in my signature is probably one of the rarest figures. I've only seen like less than a handful of them.

How dare you bring that Pascha talk in here. Mentioning her should be rarerrrr than the figure.
:-p
(Tried to nab her last year or year before at SDCC, from their existing stock. There was like 2. Gone in seconds)

You're killin' me. I tried contacting CS several times, but they couldn't help out. It's all good. I'll probably end up making my own. Anyway, the battle is over for now. On to the Underverse and what that will bring.

Regret is such a buzzkill.
I am pretty pleased with my collection as it is.
To be honest though, I would have loved to be able to add a couple more robots to my collection.
Especially a Civic Defence Guard Dropcloth 1.5 and the Caesars Surgeon G + Gravedigger.
Also I regret skipping on Desert Seventh Div. HaroldFS, etc.
A drained budget ended all efforts at that time and now they're untraceable or way out of my league.
Still offhandedly looking for them, but I fear chances are slim.

Re: WWR General Toy Discussion
Not too many regrets here, I'm glad I got what I did when I did. I have the 5 Deeds, MK1 square, Mighty & Harold Deeds as well as the Tracky DDV2 and they are all awesome. Von fits in nicely with them and if I had to Sombre and Shadow Merde could provide back up. All good all so damn cool.

Re: WWR General Toy Discussion
It's best not to regret. I think the ones that got away are there to remind us to appreciate those that we did acquire or to remind us that it's really about the journey/chase. After all, we can't have everything, but we can have fun trying to get it through the people we meet, the friends we make, the Legion camaraderie we've built, etc.

Re: WWR General Toy Discussion
And there it starts:
The arrival of the blurry teasers.
That's a lot of details for such a tiny robot.
I really like those handles in its face.
The vibe is a bit different than what we've seen before.
Not a diesel punky clunky chunk of metal from the pre-nuclear battle grounds, but more a pieced together cold war era apparatus.
WWR was already moving in that direction, with Caesar, 4Square and especially Alberto.
I think it is a smart move to start with the tiny adorable robots.
However I really, really, really, really, really, really hope we'll see some Bertie love from Underverse.
Still hoping for some classic colorways, although I can imagine WWRx starts off with new factions, etc.
I wonder if WWRx is a name change to differentiate it from threeA's WWR or just a step up.
Like WWR EVOL and WWR | SOTF.
