Thanks for the review, as a veteran 3a collector it was nice the see things from a new perspective. Very nice shots too, I passed on these but I look forward to your review of the rest of the 9.

I agree, the box is too abstract on this one. It could use a sketch or even a fold-out panel like the old WWRp figures had. Nice looking figure though. Those little pegs were first introduced back with the Bertie Mk3 Mode Bs, they had an instruction sheet with them for clarity, I forget if the 1/6th Harolds have one in the box...

From what I can gather, the text on his shoulder means: "Four Sons" in Latin. Interesting...

One additional thing,  how do you guys get the little pegs back out?  You csn see how I used pliers to pull one out when it was 60% inserted.

I got them now 100% inserted to have full use of the shoulder joint but not sure how ro pop them out.  I could jam something from the bottom but need to use something hook shaped to do it without the tracks in the way.

This is another thing that would distract Japanese fans.  Most dont have any tools at all.  Even many of the Gundam kits are made to  be built without tools.

Tools cost stupid prices here. A simple socket set is well over 50 bux and if you have more than just a screw driver,  people think you are a heavy D. I. Y person.  No one  builds or does projects around the home.  It is all done by paid professionals unless you get outside the city.

My neighbor thought I was a genious because I changed my own oil on my motorcycle . Wtf??

to take out the pegs, you can use anything you have, no need special tool or anything, you know what tool I use for that? small screwdiver, lol, just push using that, and problem solved, or you can use ballpoint, or pencil, scissors, anything.

actually before I put the pegs, I sandpapering the pegs a bit, so it's not too tight Laughing

...Shitty 9 just showed up in the Seattle area (Olympia)...I'm getting more fond of the Harold's as the days go by.
...unlike McDonalds I am genuinely loving this color way...looking forward to the Dropcloths now.
...for me the Bramble's and Bertie's have been the be all end all bots.
...I'm an old guy and when I was a kid tanks were such a big deal...damn I love robots.

I hope we get a Caesar in this line, and I'm totally not just saying this because I started collecting when they were new! That's crazy there's no way I gravitated towards what was the new release at the time! ALRIGHT I ADMIT IT I LOVE THE CASESAR AND HAROLD BOTS BECAUSE WHEN I FIRST BECAME A 3A'ER THEY WERE THE NEW BOTS AND NEW SUPERIOR ADVANCED DESIGNS!

If you look at the previous bot designs it seems like whenever there is a new one they have a big sale for it and I think the last time they did that it was Harolds! Well there was the Mighty Square sale last year but I don't count that... What's the new bot this year? Bertie Mk2 1/6? Birdcage? Both only released in a few colorways. I'm talking about the sales like they release all the colorways of a bot at once.

According to WWR lore The Harolds are older designs and inferior to most bots in the WWR Universe.

Boom, another added to the war machine that is 1/12th WWRp

USA EC MARINE BERTIE MK3 - MEMBER FOUR SHITTY 9

The third release from the series serialized in Month Hobby JAPAN, 'WWR THE SHITTY 9'.

MK3 'Old Kunty' is the only surviving member of the P664-002 CORP - the rest of the corp disappeared over the Bermuda triangle en route to engage a Martian Shockdrop on the island of Puerto Rico. No traces of the remaining corp were ever found - their last transmission only contained coordinates for an unknown destination.

Old Kunty was found to have no memory of the event, or how and why he was eventually found frozen 30 meters beneath the ice in Antarctica, a full eight months after the disappearance of the P664-002 CORP. The mystery of war...

The third release in the SHITTY 9 series of figures is the USA EC MARINE BERTIE MK3! The MK3 is largest of all the BERTIE type models, equipped as a powerful solider with thick armor and heavy weaponry. This figure is 1/12th scale standing approximately 24cm and is fully articulated down to its individual fingers. A large shotgun is included as a weapon.

You had me at Bertie...I am weak when the Berts come out. Not that I wasn't already buying the 9 but still. I really hope we get a Bert 2 also added by the end of this.

Whoa! Yes! I might have to get this. MK3 is my favorite Bertie and this would go well with JEA, though it also resembles Uncle5 a bit.

What does EC mean? I've seen these initials on the Sand Devil Large Martins.
