Re: 3AGO WWR
Thanks for the pic Counterfeit!
These portable Squares are also super-cute, hopefully we also see a nice Set 16 or 20 sometime?
And can`t wait for AGO Squares Volume 2 and maybe 3, with OG colorways, newer ones like MOD, Fong John or Maid and some brand new colorways and sazy chases...
Gladly i had some money for this completely surprising drop, with a fair warning, i had bought two Sets, but too much stuff incoming this month...and i`m still not a fan of these "Blitzkrieg" drops...these are only fun with loaded funds....

Probably not gonna pick this up, never liked the newer square designs much. If vol2 has some of the older ones, or ghost hunter, I'm in.

dammit, it's going to have Dutch mercs aint it, lol.
Nice comparison pic. Not 3AA, this year, but more the fact I'm still held up by a couple of those unpaid preorders. Really hating those, they stay on your mind forever, especially when things get delayed.

Really hoping that this release means we might finally see the 1/12th square set released sooner rather than later.
Noticed that not much love has been given to the WWRp range for a while (excluding the Goodsmile releases)
Hey Gimbat, any chance you could enquire about the 1/12th square set?

Re: 3AGO WWR
Venture had a DIY blank version. Looking at the few that were not identified, the sketches, they look like drawn/painted DIY ones.

Re: 3AGO WWR
Was really debating grabbing this, but I caved and ordered a set. I generally only buy 1/6 stuff, but with counterfeit's comparison pic the size difference doesn't bother me at all. Kind of like little brothers of squares. Also, if I get any I don't like, these will make a nice little gift for friends/family. "Here, this one's ugly, you can have it..."
I'm excited about the whole element of surprise here. I'm curious as to what the other 6 colorways will be?

Yeh, thanks for the comparison pic counterfeit.
WWRp squares felt a little too small to me and this look like the perfect mini size. I bit the bullet and bought the set, here's hoping for a JEA and Dirty Deeds.

What's up with their sculpt? No dents, scratches or little details. Kind of soulless if you ask me...

I don't like it either, and it's the same thing with the 4Squares.
Is it really that hard to mold ABS with pre-sculpted textures?

Despite being mostly smooth, there are some molded bits. I like em. Definitely not soulless.
Re: 3AGO WWR
Yeah, they look nice. I'm just jaded by the quality of the old 3A figures. Hoping for the best with these - I've got my eye on that skull deco one...

Re: 3AGO WWR
They are pretty awesome in hand even though super light and plastic. Definitely more of a toy feel than the 1/6 vinyl counterparts. People were going apeshit for them at Japan Venture though, lining up for hours just to possibly get a random few. Each day I had to pass on these to get Eddy gacha so this is a nice chance to make up for that.
Yup. It's becoming clear that traveling long distances to only score event exclusives is not worth the trouble, but I wouldn't take back going to Japan Venture for anything, that shit was epic.
Now I'm patiently waiting for the 1/6 Eddy bambaland 10pk
Sideglide wrote:Looking at the images, I see 8 that are from the Japan Venture show. Complainers should post up and say thanks to Ash and crew.
Will also add the price is cheaper than Venture, and also includes shipping. Slowly but surely, the Venture exclusives are no longer exclusives. At best, they were sneak peeks.

Re: 3AGO WWR
^ Same thing with what we saw during SDCC last year.
WarBot & Snargle & Zombot are identical to the Bamba versions. Maybe a different box, the left hand on the Zombot being painted yellow on top...
Truly, the event exclusives have lost the exclusivity... but that is what everyone was asking for - give us all a shot and all got a shot. Can't say I'm complaining.
I definitely can't complain about SDCC, I live in SD so no poo poo'ing from me.
I do agree with the look... I'll always love the classic square platform, but these can't hold a candle to what I have. That vinyl feel is the truth and these are just something else to me. I can deal with that on the EVOLsquare because it has a different story for me in my mind,... but I won't be biting on the GOsquares.
Still though, can I please have my WANKA reward?????

Love Squares. Glad someone on a 3A FB group I'm in pointed out the sale, otherwise I'd have completely missed it!!
Anyways it inspired me to do an outside photo yesterday.

The more I look at it, the more enticing the unknown grey square in the back of the promo shots is to me. I like the chipped-paint patterning, it's different than the others which are more rust speckled around the edges. Not that I think the others look bad at all, I just like the dinged-up look of that mystery square.

I actually would like mix of square scales in my WWR squad,.. but it's just hard for me to get down with the ABS aesthetic,...
Oh little GOsquares,... here is a photo showing what you will never have:

Re: 3AGO WWR
If they are sold as single bots and aren't ridiculously expensive I will buy at least one.
I am not too interested in 3AGO or WWR usually, but these look really, really nice, don't they?
You WWR aficionados must be thrilled!
Which one to choose is the only question now...

Anyone has any idea whether the classic warbot is similar to the warbot with zombie set sold a few months back. Thanks

WWR aficionados and 3ago aficionados aren't necessarily the same people. If they were 1/6 I'd definitely be grabbing at least one but 3ago might be a pass.
