Re: 3AGO WWR
The one in the right looks more like the OG paint job with the yellowing in there, the one on the left looks a little fresher as far as paints aps

Re: 3AGO WWR
The 1/6th OG paint app was actually more white, with a lot of blue and silver. The yellowish 10-pack version matches the 1/12 Bertie pretty well since it has a yellow wash.
Re: 3AGO WWR
Ah gotcha yeah that was what I was thinking of the lil Bertie that poor bot looks like he still has the plasma of blood still on him after a quick wash

Considering myself pretty damn lucky. (Sorry for the crappy pics, kind of rushed.)
Can anyone read the last name? I can only make out 'Jillian"
The rest of the set: 3A Legion, NW, DW, Dirty Deeds, Medic, Hard 30, Wanpi, Meow, 3A.

Re: 3AGO WWR
Very nice catch Vaxillus. I wonder if we'll ever see another set, especially when you think of what 3ago squares haven't been made yet Desert, Winter, Red, Jungle, Euro, Lunar just a few of the older ones that come to mind plus newer ones like Freemantle, Mod-chip, F-album and an awful lot more. Certainly enough for another 10pk.

Hey Vaxillus, I'm pretty sure that's Ash's signature under JILLIAN..!

That was a guess of mine, sort of embarrassed not to know what it looked like<{OjO}> wrote:Hey Vaxillus, I'm pretty sure that's Ash's signature under JILLIAN..!
And congrats Boltman! Seems like they're a little less rare than might be expected, but definitely seemed like a more limited sale than normal so maybe that kept things reasonable.

Re: 3AGO WWR
3AGO Sandy F*ck arrived today. Really nice paint job on this one.
Note: I've got different gear on my 1/12th Sandy F*ck but the paint app is original. It's much more of a flat colored paint job while the 3AGO is glossy.

Love the flat paint on the 1/12!! Please 3A no more gloss... It just doesn't look right on an old weathered bot

Re: 3AGO WWR
Glossy makes it darkish .. Is there a way to remove this glossy wihout damage the paint
Re: 3AGO WWR
The gloss really takes away the whole point of weathering.

Re: 3AGO WWR
I agree, there seems to be a trend towards a glossy finish on bots now. It is quick easy to remove the gloss though, by spraying lightly with a matt varnish.

Re: 3AGO WWR
It's good if it helps
I really want see white skull on warbot, not a glossy darkish one.

Re: 3AGO WWR
You might try rubbing a Mr. Clean MagicEraser on the gloss to cut down the sheen. I don't know if it will work for sure on the paint, but I've tried it on glossy Princess TQ plastic legs after I scraped with my fingernail the flaking psoriasis satin clear coat and the eraser cut down the glossiness of the plastic.

Re: 3AGO WWR
I was starting to think maybe I got a dud tracking number, but it looks like my squares are finally in Canada!
Was starting to get a little worried, I guess customs must have held them up or something. Hopefully it will only take a few more days to arrive.
Those are some neat tips for reducing gloss, might try them out on one of my Deeds Berties.

Sandcrab is here! I'm impressed with this guy; great weathering, detail, and even the packaging art is nice. Feels good to receive WWR in the mail. Waiting on JEA next
