I am curious about tk interlopper, it was the chase for the first wave, but no photo where shown for him.
I wonder how he turn out.
I wonder also if Kyoku will be in that wave I know it was not in the wave but the toyfair. But again

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
Glad to see the shipped version of Nom de Plume has his proper red lenses unlike the promo shots.
Re: 3AGO General Discussion
Beautiful!
my only complaint about 3AGO DePlumes is that the hose is too short... causes the pouches to rest too high up and too near the armpit.
though that may be seen as adding to the more toy-like aesthetic of this line.
I also think Nom's pants could be greener, like the OG.

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
what's the problem Papamadoo?
the prototype has more weathering, true. But the final colors are closer to the OG Nom.

and you don't see a problem ?
we can't defend the difference between the two, the final product feel rushed, the boots look just like a brown 3d print.Too clean style is too clean. the color doesnt really matter but the finish yes. you don't release a illustration in flat color, the warm felling comme from its ligthning and is shadow.
Like everything, The awesomess of an illustration or figure its in final step, the weathering. And lately its something they are rushing badly.
I did a little clean up of my 1|12 scale lately, And I was amaze of how much the first Ak Wave was top noch and amazingly done face to the second one. (ak wave 2 look fine, just far from what they did with the first one)
This is the same thing. They are rushing the release. they have to much figure to ship, people cry about the long wait and they crush the double of figures for half the time the should really need. They should stop just stop, and say they will be release when ready. People sure will complaint hell some will event stop following. The good awesome quality will come back.
you can't be fine with that, Its like ordering a big mac and because its a rush you get no cheese no beef.

Papamadoo:
it's not that i don't see a problem... it's that some things bother me more than others, and the things that bother me less may bother you the most. Or vice-versa.
Right now i'm more angry about the changes made to the Mighty Square designs, HUGE differences from proto to final product.
in 3AGO, the differences from proto to final are not so big... basically weathering. I'm not saying it's OK, just that it doesn't bother me as much as a change in the design per se.
Personally i think the final colors in all 3AGO seen so far are almost spot-on. Even though the weathering is lacking.
Mighty Squares on the other hand, have EXCELLENT weathering (some say even as good as old school 3A weathering), but changed completely at a design level and WITHOUTH TELLING US...
So, as some people might say, "choose your battles"... I think part of the charm of 3AGO is that they are intended to feel more toy-like, less like a high end collectible. In this sense, it doesn't bother me that they've skimped a bit on weathering though by any means i am NOT justifying or defending it.
3A has, in fact, reduced its weathering standards a huge deal, as noted by many in the community. But for me, the main problem, would be a lack of respect and courtesy (Eg: constant communication / transparency) towards the Legion / community.

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
Just got my Nom de Plume. My first 3AGO figure. What a disappointment ...that I ordered only this one! This is fucking amazing!
Leg articulation is frustratingly limited though... I get the the vintage Mego thinking, but those stiff ankles are just as stupid, as they were with 1/6th scale figures with stiff boots. 3AGO TKs, Hemingways and Pumpkins have ankle articulation, so why not de Plumes? Why?! ...okay enough of that...
I wish I had ordered all de Plumes. I was just so damn convinced that, that I should not extent my de Plume collection to this third scale... Regret!! The build quality is best you can get. I love the scale and proportions.

Same. I only got the TK kids, thinking I won't get into anymore. Day & night arrived, and they are pretty cool! Can't wait for the others.

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
3AGO is so much fun!
Maybe the boots should be a softer material to allow for ankle movement. They DID make the hose very soft, which increases the DePlume's poseability.
