3AA 2017 Discussion

I like Blanc Hunter figure. I think memberships should be kept simple. I think some stuff from the membership just ends up staying in the package anyways so the less waste, the better. That bullet for example from the Blanc Hunter membership I've never displayed.

unsure on yr but the set with 1/12 nom de plume was my fav. first cuz im a huge fan of that character and at time 1/6 ver was way out of reach price wise(still is). also cuz i strongly believe that figure changed the landscape of collectible figures, showed all companies/collectors wht was possible with 1/12.

Best 3AA pack for me would have been the one that included the Desert Attack Bramble back in 2009.

Where 2-3 yrs ago, it irked me that 3A was coming out with stuff that I liked but the execution was poor. Now they're simply coming out with really cool stuff and nailing the final product. It's just none of the licenses or AW designs appeal to my personal taste.

#440 is hanging it's jersey in the rafters after 6 years. Still might make a purchase or 2 but can't justify the membership any more.

ThreeA really nailed it with the Lass set in 2014. As noted higher up in the thread, it was cool that our numbers were imprinted on the membership boxes for years 1 and 2 (I joined in year 2, #0105). The 2010 WWRp Nom de Plume packaging was also small and manageable. Everything was really fresh, new, and inspired in those days.

I bought the Lass pack on secondary,  joined 2015 and 2016 but moved the sets.  I don't really go for the Nom scale from 2015, and 2016 just irked me with the tanks and coat looking like a cosplay style.

Lass was awesome, looked and felt special.

I would like to propose a thing for member 3aa only.

I payment service.

like a monthly base unique to 3aa member (a benefit from the statue)

you pay 1|6 of the price - each month pay can't be reboursed.

Seriously if this woulb be there I would have pick alot more threea this year .

the helf cost is already good, one of the reason I was able to pick TK hunter but if I could have pay by month I would have take both of them :O !

Is PayPal Credit available in your country? It's pretty much the same thing you're asking for and you get six months to pay purchases over $99 off. Just make sure you do to avoid paying interest. I use it often.

They should look into Flex-pay like Sideshowtoy.com has. Their figures average 220.00USD as well and you can break it usually into 6 payments. As a Canadian, I LOOOOOOOVE IT!!

I've always loved SS for that reason. Plus for 3A that could mean a steady flow of cash that trickled in.

I imagine Sideshow employs a lot more people than ThreeA. Keeping track of all the accounts and where they were payment wise would probably be a full time job or two.

I'm sure its a pretty automated system. It's linked to your account so payments are auto processed and tracked. Goofs in the system is where things could get tricky..and i would be costly to set up.

In addition, SS is HT's exclusive U.S. distributor. Hoy Toys wouldn't be able to set this system up themselves.

I'll be honest. I'd all but forgotten about it. Not really into the contents, but I've supported 3A since the beginning, and love what 3A does and is about, so I signed up out of that respect.... and for the discount I guess.

Hah! So I just looked and so far in 2017, I have ordered the 3AA pack... that's been it.
Some supporter I've been.

Last thing before 3aa I ordered was DD5. In 2017 3aa is all I ordered so far. Slow year for WWR.
I know Armstrong set is still available and 1/12 Von but too pricey for what you get in my opinion or maybe I'm just growing up??? Let's not go that far.

This year I was able to obtain two things I regretted not getting and expected to never have.
So 2017 is already a good year.

honestly, I'm not surprised that 3AA membership released in may, I'm more surprised this one I bold released in june, that's freaking fast, I believe I just saw this one up for preorder last month:
