Why Would a department of defence spend tons of money on expensive Berties if they didn't have insanely much heavier and more firepower than cheap grunts (who carry around a lot of (small caliber) firepower already) or Dropcloths.
Those heavy gorilla arms need to do something.

We need a Halloween Bertie release.
Slaughterhouse Mk2 Bertie in 1/6. An aberration in the Bertie ranks that stalks the bombed out shells of ruined cities. Some reports seem to indicate that he trails behind the Slaughterhouse Dropcloth as his vicious shadow.

And.... #6 too.
