Re: Bertie MK2
Saw pics of Warbot and DD Alberto, both look awesome!!!
Can't wait to get the fully loaded Warbot into my hands.
Any word on DD Alberto sale?
And off topic but when can I expect Bramble in hand?

<{OjO}> wrote:Just noticed a pic of the production version of Warbot being shown at DCon! He looks pretty dark in the pic but it could just be the lighting!?
I always thought the original Mk1 and the WWRp variant were too bright. (and clean)
I can't say I don't like anything I see in this pic shared by Joseph Castillo on Facebook
Oily and dirty just like it should.
Maybe the pouches might have been more ragged but I really like what I see here.
It could be due too lightning like <{OjO}> said, but I don't complain if this is what we get.
The original promo pics already looks a lot darker than the original Mk1 from 2008

Derailing this thread a bit more, I hope the fact DDV2 Alberto is shown means we'll finally see it for sale.
Hopefully including a couple more colorways down the line, so we're able to satisfy our craving.
And Classic Colorway Berties.
We need those.
And #6 of the Dirty Dozen...
that too.

Nope, me neither.
But I am a bit of a 1 bird in the hand and 10 in the air type.
Can't wait to see more.
Best 1/6th threeA robot to date needs more variants.

Re: Bertie MK2
Really like the dirty weathering of the new Warbot, but its kinda missing the light blue highlights like the 1/12 version.
Hoping that there will be a Gravedigger variant of the Bertie that matches the Caesar paint work (matt and dirty).

That's one thing I am kinda curious about too and may be lighting in the photo but I am not seeing the light green (aged copper) highlights/details on the finished display piece. Part of the reason why I liked the Promo sales images, kinda reminded me of the 1/12 version.

Re: Bertie MK2
Agree. Very nice packaging and art box. Warbot figure and its accessories were everything I hoped for. However, I wonder how much future WWR product there really will be with the disclosed low sales numbers for this figure and the to be shipped Bertie. If we are at the end of WWR figures being produced by 3A that would be too bad.

Re: Bertie MK2
These low numbers where known far before DCON last month.
Showing off a WWR Alberto DDV2 during that show, would be a strange move if you don't plan to release it... eventually.
Anyway,
While both Shaolin Cowboy and Ashtro Lad arrived,
I am still waiting for Warbot, which seems to be stuck in Guangzhou since December 12th.

No update whatsoever.
All we know is threeA wants to release an Ashtro Lad Wave Two.
And at least an Ultra TK in April.

Best I could do is send you a pic. I don't use any online photo-sharing sites.

You don't need any photo sharing sites to post an image. Just press the "host an image" icon when creating your post, then press "select files", select your image from your file(s) and open it, then press the "send all" or blue upload button and finally press the "insert all" button.
