3AA 2018 - FUTURE MORT 13!

Year 10 looks to have a good start!

Here is how we got to Future Mort:

I wonder if there are any special things for the 10 year members?  There were about 300 original 3AA members and I'm guessing that number is at least half now.  Special fig, 10 yr patch, custom original oil painting...you know, something simple.

I had just missed the first figure by a few months when I found 3A. I lurked for another month or so then joined the board. I can't believe its been that long.

Well dang though,... this is going to be another icon coming out for a membership fig.

I think returning 10yrs it’s maybe 30 people. About 1000 people sign up each year (at least the last three-four years). Sometimes more, sometimes less

Wow, 30 is low!  Any clothing this time?  Still hoping for a ThreeA beanie and a sweet pin.  Ooooh...special 10yr member pin, that would be cool.  In addition to the painting of course.  

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.
Signing up yet again. This will be my 9th year.
I think i've done my due diligence over these years.
Please grandfather me in as 10yrs 3A. I deserve it.      

Yeah grandfather all of us in that are still here and have been on these forums participating, creating emo, and hype, etc.  That should be worth something shouldn't it?

So..if I've stuck around longer than some of the old 10 year vets..can I have theirs? I only missed by a few months.
Just kidding..the vets deserve something for taking the full ride.

So, Future Mort could be a futuristic Robo-Skeleton Head, or should we expect

I definitley think 10yr vets should get a little something extra but I'd also like to see something similar for other longtimers. Like a little perk for your 5th year then 10th etc.
I'm on the fence at the moment but leaning toward re-enlisting. The final decider will be what Mort looks like, I'm mainly a WWR guy so if he would look good with my WWR stuff then i'm in. Also depends on price and my funds.

Uses the standard sized body. Updated version of the original How2Work figure. Nice 60s style tailored suit, new style hat, and belt/holster

I could see totally see a zoot suit mob style outfit with a shit ton of damage like seen on the joker costume. If he was toting an uzi or tommy gun could be cool. The scarf seems essential based on the comic sketches. Who knows but maybe he will come with 2 10” hotties that follow him around.

New hat and holsters sounds perfect.
So it won't have a slim body? Or is slim the standard?

I believe he's using the current taller, slim TK body

F-legion, Blanc, Von & Death Buddies are my favorite 3aa sets. All the others I could do without. The only reason I signed up was because F-legion looked so cool. Now with 3a spreading into licences and Barbie's I'm spending much less and so the next pack in not interested in I'll probably drop out. Mort is holding my interest for now.

thanks for the infos, sounds pretty cool so far ...

You know how some folks say 3A is dying or dead?  Well...I say 3A should use this Future Mort as a marketing tool.  And when they market him, say something like "3A IS DEAD!" or "THE DEATH OF 3A!"  and then on the next figure they sell, they could sell a new JC  figure and market that as "THE RESURRECTION OF 3A!"  or "3A IS ALIVE!"   Kind of like what they did with Superman in the comic books.  Am I a marketing genius or what?!!  Man, 3A should hire me as their marketing consultant.

I've been waiting with bated breath since the beginning of 3A for this to happen. No way I'm missing out. Here's to 10 wild years of pushing boundaries and expectations!
