Monday, May 14th, up for 4wks, can someone on the inside let me know the exact time these are coming down. After June 10 would suit me nicely.

DIY being cheaper to produce is really only a myth. The cost of manufacturing and the overhead required for something at a low quantity (anything under 1000pcs) is ridiculously high these days

Yeah I'd love some info on sales numbers.
I know Marine Bramble is planned but that will only get made if this one sells enough (400ish) and while I'd actually prefer the Marine I'll probably grab this guy.
I remember I passed on the damaged Bromwich Bertie because there were more colourways on the way but then when the Bromwich didn't sell enough that was the end of those, I'd hate for the same to happen here.
On a slightly related topic, I pitched an idea to Ash on Instagram, kinda like a groupfund thing, a bot is up on Bamba but only gets made once it reaches a certain number. If it doesn't get enough buyers then everyone gets either a refund or store credit. Good or bad idea?

We've been discussing kickstarter style sales with Kim for a while now, and since even Hasbro are doing them, he's more open to the idea.

We've proposed this style sale for some of the licensed lines that we're passionate about, but are risks as far as losing money goes, and this kind of thing gives sales some transparency and if it's successful, great, if it's not, then there is little loss. Some licensors and creators are super cool with it, some aren't.

For OG stuff, it'll happen sooner than later. Just a matter of finding the right figure to do it with. The Super Sets are currently being looked at, but with current pricing it'd be like $1200+ per set.

Much as I'd love an instant squad building super set I'd be out at $1,200 and honesty even be out at half that price but there are plenty here who might be ready to go for that price. Personally I'd be up for a kickstarter type of thing, I think it would be good for the fans who would get a good idea of numbers and good for ThreeA because they'd have a guaranteed minimum in how many to make or else just scrap it all together.

I think for a kickstarter type figure..you need a tier system. Something that ranges from a single figure at around $150 all the way to the super set at $1200.  That encourages people to be able to buy in at least at a minimum level and if more buy reward figs can be unlocked, you can always add to the pledge before it all gets locked in. Im sure you guys have it figured out how it would best work for 3A.

Side note...almost have all the cash for Bram!

I think someone did as a custom, but nothing official.

I'd guess Campbell's and other stuff along that line are confined to squares only. I don't think there's ever been anything like that done with any other bot.

Is the DD V2 Alberto sale still going to happen or is that been put in the back burner?
I agree it’d be great to see some more OG brambles made in the near future but I’d love even more for the 1/6 mk2 berties to get made. They would fill a big hole in many different squads.!

Any ideas on a timeframe? And will it be open for weeks? The only reason I ask is so the credit card can be prepped and ready.

Last couple of pre-orders have been available for multiple weeks, at least 4.
Pre-made releases could sell out in mere hours.

The idea is it will be available "blindboxed" with random number, just like the WWR | SOTF H/S Civic Defence Dropcloth 1.5 Guard Blindbox.
Multiples would have different random numbers.
And ordering 6 will have number 1 - 6.

Random number Alberto would be cool with me, I only really want one. Just don't make it impossible to get, leave it up for as long as possible and please plenty of notice with price and date. I don't ask for much do I?

For Albertos prices are still being confirmed, should be a July sale if all goes well
