Okay - I thought maybe the problem was on my end and I had a virus.  Nope.  My PC is clean.  This is the ONLY site I visit that keeps redirecting me to either a porn site or a fake service provider alert page.  I guess if it continues, bye-bye forum...

*edit* Worse then ever.  I've been trying to make a post in another thread and keep getting sent to some other bullshit page that I can't close without doing a forced shut down of my internet.  Again - only on this forum.

I use an ad-blocker with all my browsers and have never seen ads on this forum nor have been redirected elsewhere.

I've had it happen on both a tablet and my phone. I won't go to this site from my phone anymore. It happens every single time. Stopped using it for this site months ago. Same issue as zzzzz. On the tablet it has happened less. Never brought it up because... free forum software. This stuff happens, is very irregularly applied, and nearly impossible to manage/stamp out during my experience running other boards. Ad blockers work, but can wreck other sites working as well.

Strange. Im on my laptop and having no trouble at all. As a matter of fact I've never had any trouble of any sort.

It's only been the last couple of days.  It's a little different this time in that before I would be redirected at a random time after logging in to the board.  Now I get redirected at login.  Also, before, I had to completely shut down my internet once it happened.  This time, it's allowing me to exit the page and come back.  Seems fine after the initial redirect.

Normally I don't say much about this forum site but God damn lately every time I use the banner to return to the home page or even opening threads I keep being redirected to a nonsense pop-up or bullshit ad that isn't even remotely related to ThreeA.  I get it needing funding for a cheap forum that collectors just bitch about the toys they want but in all honesty just remove the fucking ads or MOVE them to a different section of the page maybe at the bottom something just to try and correct this nonsense.  I can't express enough how much ads bug the living shit out of me and I have always disliked this new forum site over the old one, on the old one I felt at home.  Here.... it feels like a hotel room, someplace that is borrowed or rented out never to be permanently occupied by an actual tenant.

I use Ad-Block on all my devises/browsers. Never had an issue with ads on this site using my MB and Firefox, or my Android phone using Chrome.

I've been having some issues with the forum the last few days, I load up the page and without even logging in a window appears saying that my device has been blocked and to call the number shown as my personal information is being stolen and I can't even close the window. I assumed it was phishing, so I contacted apple support and upgraded to the newest OS. While I was waiting for that to download I turned on my PC that I barely ever use and got a similar window with a similar message. No other site seems to give me troubles so I asked about this at the local computer store (as I'm not very tech savvy), where they brought up the forum on their computer and the same thing happened. Was able to get onto the forum today after restarting my laptop, but it's very frustrating as I'm on here all the time checking for new posts. Just thought I'd share my problem on here, not sure what can be done about it but maybe others are experiencing this and I'm not the only one.

At least I can sign in sometimes after a few attempts, but it's certainly not convenient.


EDIT: Seems to have sorted itself out for the moment.

I can totally confirm this forum is once again getting hijacked by bogus virus alerts, etc. as it's happening to me as well the last couple of days.  Annoying as hell.  As I said in an earlier post, this board seems to be an easy target for these scammers.  Seems to happen for a few days, then goes away only to return a month or two later.

Hasn't happened to me. What operating systems are you guys on and which browsers are you using? Maybe that has something to do with it? Also what type of virus protection do you guys have?
