Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
In all honesty, broken leg aside (hopefully not broken for long) it's still a fantastic looking figure. I'm still glad I bought the G1 Prime.illproxy wrote:was plottin on reg prime, save up, no doubt on display it would be incredible but after what i just went thru with the threezero scopedog breakage and revealing such a crap design, and the talk of a broken prime here im stayin away. will enjoy pics but def dont have enough loot to dice roll on anything via threezero or threeA over 200 bucks. hell nahhhhh lesson learned finally.
paint on the nemesis is impressive!

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
ultra mag earned a top spot in sharts 2017 best figures list!
i have no doubt it is, but after the scopedog issue and seein that poor joint design up close just cant at this price. my faith in threea/threezeros ability to craft a quality product at this high of a price is gone currently. bad enough i have this awesome lookin votoms piece that im scared to try and pose. not gonna even flirt with that happening again.

I had made the decision hat the transformers would be my next collection, but bit worried by talks of damage and quality issues, is this limited or wide spread issue?

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
Honestly, I was just unlucky. The other leg, the ball joint, zero issues. Other leg moves around like a dream, fluid and holds very well. I can even pose prime on one leg without issue. He has become Hoptimus Prime. Honestly, every other inch of this figure is perfect. It's just the ball joint to that piece is sooo tight that I didn't realize I was breaking it when it felt like it was moving. Hopefully the replacement part shows up and I can fix him.karr1981 wrote:I had made the decision hat the transformers would be my next collection, but bit worried by talks of damage and quality issues, is this limited or wide spread issue?

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
I got my nemesis prime today... with a broken pinky finger on the right hand... who do I go through to get this resolved, bbts customer service or cs@threeaonline.com?

Go through BBTS first. They'll work with our CS

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
ask for new pinky, they must have a spare prime for parts. if hand can be unscrewed like WWR hands adding new pinky would be fairly easy. pls let us know what happens Cthulhu, good luck.

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
No need to send anything to hk thankfully and hands are modular too. So just got to pop old one off and new one on, once it gets here. Hopefully they do not forget to send it, I'm sure I'll have to contact them as a reminder at some point though.

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
ahhh nice. yeah they just moved offices so def remind them if it goes over the time estimated.
surprised BBTS didnt just open one up and cannibalize it for parts, send you a new hand.
at least you can get it sorted w/o shippin back, thats awesome.

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
Emailed bbts first and 3ACS later on, cs responded in minutes after I mailed them. Haven't heard a peep from bbts yet. I think their kinda ambivalent to exchanging parts. Not sure what they'll do for me or when they'll respond back.

i went back and forth with BBTS recently on email, was speaking with Liz and was a pretty quick turn around for replies, she is very nice and helpful. im guessing they are contacting threeA CS first before replying and thats why its delayed. fingerscrossed they do have a spare prime for parts and hook you up a new hand asap.
blows my mind that threezero want ish mailed back at customers cost(via my recent experience) and that it would take 6 weeks for 3A to get a hand sent off to you.

If anyone was holding out on Ultra Magnus, now might be a good time to snag one as they are 42% off at Thinkgeek. Just under $250 after tax and free shipping for me.

Nah, two giant pieces of over priced plastic problems are enough for me.

Hmmm... do I want to complete the set?
At that price it’s very tempting.

Re: TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
There is always the possibility it will go even lower, especially if they are sitting on a bunch of stock. 500 units seems like a lot to me for a variant at the original $390. But I didn't want to risk the wait. Won't have room to display for a few months though...
Now....for the love of Jeebus, release Megatron. That sculp is too good.
