Got my Death Mask today. Beyond disappointed. Floppy and useless. sigh.

Received my Death Mask TK today. Man, I have to say - what a cool fucking figure. I'm serious, really, this guy just oozes cool. The box is way bigger than I was expecting and I absolutely love the packaging design; really top notch! Inside were 2 posters, one for Death Mask and another for Yoshitshune, which is odd, but okay...

My copy of the figure was thankfully spared many of the QC nightmares I've seen here. No broken parts or missing bolts, just no red grenades like in the promo art. I picked him up and immediately felt his body bend backwards under the strain of his massive backpack. I had figured mine would come with the 'floppy body' syndrome, so this wasn't a shock. However, after removing the backpack from him and standing him upright I actually found that mine can stand and pose just fine - and with the included stand posing him with the battery pack works just as well. His body is loose compared to my other TKs, but not as bad as many I've seen.

Overall, this guy is still pretty incredible in his design and unmistakable presence. The crap quality control only makes these more tragic, because this really is a fantastic figure, and is actually the first time in a long time that I've been genuinely excited by a TK. Hopefully 3A will resolve the body problems on this and future figures, it would be a shame to see such great designs like this one go to waste...

Just received my death mask as well, got the same results as Argentix everything fine except when you pick him up and the body flops backwards from that heavy backpack.

I have him posed with his stand but could actually posed him without it but not too many ways especially standing straight up and certainly no excuse that everything is fine QC still has to do better.

Emailed a video of my floppy figure to CS... Still waiting for a reply. Hopefully they respond soon... Or better yet replace the figures soon

Emailed CS. Now wait...with a TK in a box. I might just transfer most the gear to Obsidian for the next bit while they sort out the body issue.

Both my Yoshitsune and Death Mask bodies are floppy.
Going to email CS for replacement bods.

Question: That all black Death Mask what was that called ? Was that the chase (was there a chase)? God I want that one instead.

So, torn on the Archer thing. I Like it, but really hope for the death archer, i liked the cape better. *hoping the body is solid.

still want to see if there is a separate quiver, or if the Last Tk is sitting inside the quiver

Want death archer- might get both... Hope the time is spent and attention paid to next to guarantee that folks won't get floppy TKs when they finally arrive...looking forward to the archer - so much so that I'm beginning to quiver !

Signed back in to see if this issue was widespread, and sad to hear it is. My Heavy Slicer also came with one of the floppiest bodies I've received yet. Luckily I was still able to fix it despite the body armor and not being able to remove the shirt. On the bright side the back pegs over the screws slipped right out.

The figure had also shifted quite a bit in the packaging and the paint on the tip of the nose and upper lip had rubbed off on the packaging. Why this didn't come with the usual plastic slip over the head is beyond me, but I can easily touch it up if I feel like it. Not really sure why the backpack was made so heavy, seems like the vinyl could have been cast a little less thick, but maybe it sagged or didn't fill out right or something.

All in all the body feels like one of the pre-new mold bodies. I have Obsidian and he's nice and tight, not sure why this one would be so bad other than them trying to dispose of old stock. There's a date on the body (inner thigh) from this year though... Maybe they figured since it needed the stand anyways it would be fine? Not so, mine definitely can be posed better with the body tightened, though he still needs the stand.

WTF is up with the hands? I had to cut the thumb away (maybe thanks to paint) to get the sword in.

Also these were supposed to have 12 grenades? Mine did only have 6 :c

Pretty sour over this, though seeing the figure standing with his big ass sword helps dull the pain a little.

...Still gonna get the archer though...

Check back through the last few pages on this thread. If the body is floppy contact CS for replacement, 6 more grenades will be sent out to everyone, don't know anything about the face painting.
Back from holidays later today and should have my Deathmask waiting for me.

the bottom last quote says "but this is goodbye 3AA".

Do you mean after this last archer sale there will
be no more membership from next year

Anyone have any idea about it ?
