Happens all the time, I'm afraid, it has happened to me twice. I did have a moan at them about it, but that is just me!!
I played nice and thanked him for using my photo and asked if I could get credit next time.

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
back when Mighty Squares were being offered, i made some collages to show the squares from various angles. Someone used one of my collages for an Ebay listing and i didn't mind.
It's the internet. Nothing belongs to anyone here. Unless it's original creations / intellectual property. And even then it'll get pirated, so i take it as a compliment if they use a pic i made.
3AGO SQUARES !!!
Lovely, but the edges are too hard, too sharp. So they loose the battered, scarred surface of their sides and the smoothed-out edges typical of vinyl squares... with sharp edges they look more toy-like and less "real".
I still like them and will get as many as i can.

Did we ever get word if these are pre-made, or pre-order?

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
It's clearly pre-order as its a time-based sale as opposed to volume.
Price shows what good value the 3aa set was.

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
Ignoring 3AA discounts for a moment, I think a $160 base price for this set is worrying when wave one 3AGOs were only $45 shipped, and the membership pack with a Bertie, TWO Commanders (which are much more involved than a zomb in shirt and shorts) and all the extra goodies was only $30 more than this set.
When bundled sets are generally perceived to give 'better value' this doesn't bode well for the price of any single Bertie drops later on.

Want just a zomb- any chance at zomb singles or perhaps a two/three pack? Warbot need meat to grind!

Too many formats to choose from. 1/6 seems more traditionally 3a. The memory of mego is just not enough.

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
I really like the feel on 3ago character ... but not so much on robot .... I really don't like the feel of the material use to it.
maybe the weigth of it ? I don't no I wasn't so satified on the bertie from the 3aa pack.
but I am whore for the character tho :p

I really like it. 1/12 can be too small (TQ's clothing looked bad as not enough material to sit like a dress), 1/6 too expensive... I skipped wave one on the 'third size' blues but the 3AA pack really sold me on it.

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
I haven't opened the 3aa pack. Maybe my mistake. The warbot does interest me though. Want that dd Bertie set in 1/6 though. Too many Bertie's. But 3ago would be cheaper.

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
Only difference I'm seeing is Bamba doesn't come with the t-shirt and then the box zombot will be in will be different I'm guessing. Everything is the same, so unless I like to pay double on the evil markets for an added t-shirt, I'll be taking my order to bamba.

Hey Legion! Haven't been around in a while, but the 3A fire still burns. Still waiting on the 3AGO 2nd wave announcement. Any word Gimbs?
Re: 3AGO General Discussion
You know... it's a weird but welcome sensation to look at a much anticipated release and say with complete calm and satisfaction: "i pass".
It feels good. Certainly better than the crazy but worried excitement of scoring a new toy when you know you probably shouldn't. It helps that this release just doesn't seem worth the asking price.
Maybe Bamba Warbot will be an exact replica of 1/12 in 3AGO scale, with all that nice verdigris on head, arms and legs, with a better skull decal, with calligraphy on torso, and maybe with extra goodies like severed zombie head. Judging by the price, one might expect so.
But Ash hasn't said a word about how exactly is the Bamba version different, and i won't assume it's different for the best.
For $160, i could get an upcoming #3 DD Bertie (or did they cost a bit more?)
There's a Mighty i was kindly offered by a fellow Legionnaire. The funds will happily go to the Mighty. Much more bang for your buck and such a beautiful robot, if you ask me.

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
So, for the Warbot and Zombot there will be differences in the toy but we won't know what until they arrive or at least until after the sale?

Re: 3AGO General Discussion
It says in that Instagram screen cap "...not same in packaging or toy for all figures". There will be differences in both toy and packaging.

lots of potential ways to read that tho depending on whether the 'or' and 'for all' are read as conjunctive or disjunctive.
So you can have
'not the same packaging or toy (conjunctive) for all (conjunctive) figures = each toy and each box will be different to SDCC.
'Not the same packaging or toy (disjunctive) for all (conjunctive) figures = each will have a different toy or different box, but not necessarily both things.
'Not the same packaging or toy (conjunctive) for all (disjunctive) figures = some toys / packaging will have differences, some wont.
'Not the same packaging or toys (disjunctive) for all (disjunctive) figures = some will have either a toy or packaging difference, but some wont.
LONG LIVE THE VAGUENESS.
