Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Just received my Dutch Merc Mighty today, and I'm very impressed! The top is a bit puffy, but that doesn't bother me. It would have been nice to see some of the blueish-grey the other DM bots feature, but the metallic/yellow combination looks great. I ordered mine through CS after the fact and only asked about a couple colorways... I was tempted to buy the Legion Mighty, or a Lunar Defence (that would have been nice too, if only I had the funds) but I'm quite happy with what I ended up purchasing.

WOW, looks like Ash poured all his love into that Jungler Mighty.
In fact, it seems like some squares he produced with lots of love, others with a feeling of "meh".... I mean, just compare this:

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Comparing one colorway to another isn't really a fair comparison. All the Medic Square's look similar to that, and the MKIs have even less graphics/paint. Some colors just don't have as much going on. And that Freemantle looks cool!
Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
I think all of them look great. Eventhough the vintage is not what I wanted, the paint apps and weathering on it are very nice.

This and this again.
I like the Freemantle for its utilitarian look. Fits nicely with a bot working on the docks.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Well Medic MK1 seems to make more with its limited color palette. Specifically, more grime and more exposed metal. But i do get how it may seem an unfair comparison.
Venom666: any chance of posting pics of your other Mighties in different angles, like you did with Jungler?

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Is ash even the one who made the changes? He could have said okay to them, but didn't personally do the layouts of the designs. Who ever did it, they seem consistent across the squares. Just don't know if it has ash's style imho.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
I think all design changed by hatchery/3A staff must be approved not only by Ash, but Mr. Kim also, remember DC 1.5u double knee articulation and painting on the shield? as long as I remember, it's Mr. Kim who applied it.
btw, can someone take photos of Mighty's Art Box (GID bomb and normal colourway), are they all same box (like harold)? I haven't seen any photos of the box, or did I missed it?

Someone posted this when sharing their Medic on FB.
They seem to be the same, with a sticker on the back saying what colorway is inside.

The bottom of the box has a large sticker with the logo and description of the colorway inside.

Thanks, venom666, for all the pics but especially for 666th... i like to suffer! but it's a pleasant sort of suffering
and your pics of Dirty Deeds are the first i've seen that show the nice copper / metallic accents, i thought it was just dark gray and black grime... had i seen your pics a few nights ago, i would have sprung for DD when i had the chance because CS told me it was available, but i insisted i wanted Sand Devil which was out of stock.
Well at least i got JEA, that one turned out nice too.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Regarding older Mighty sinking issues... is this common to all older Mighties, or do some suffer it more than others?
I would like to get an EMGY and JDF, but i fear they may be sunken / warped. Which of these releases is the more recent or is better constructed?

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
i think it was a issue that developed over time, having it standing with wieght on ball joint caused the bottom of mighty to sink in. bad design, needed more structure support their.
is like they made one saw it and then they initiated making more, didnt bother to wait and test the design for a period of time first.
hopefully due to customer feedback they altered the design but then again maybe only time will tell...

They were both released in 2012, so same year. I own them both and have had no sinking issues, only my Squarro seems to have a little. I barely notice it really, but it is there.
