Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
My biggest problem design-wise with many of the Mighty redesigns is the lack of negative space on many of them. By making the decals huge and filling up those spaces the figures lose their sense of scale - they look more like 1/4th scale Squares rather than 1/6th scale behemoths.
The Deep Powder Mighty is a perfect example of this: With a huge piece of graffiti running up its side that's clearly just a scaled version of the same graffiti found on the Bertie Mk3. That's going to look really awkward if displayed with other bots with that identical marking. Medic also suffers from this treatment, with a massive block of text on its side that's really distracting to the overall design.

I agree 100%.

I've seen the sample in Japan and it was magnificent, but the production one is even better!
Eying secondary market to find one (didn't have the funds during the sale).
I never thought I would say this to you Gimbat but contact CS, they had some leftover.
Nope, there is no DW

With the larger decals the Mightys look more like 1/4 scale Mk1s.

@mmcmplx - Thanks! Glad you liked the mighty squares - it was a ton of work to redraw every existing WWR faction decal kit from scratch in order to get that nice fidelity and detail on the larger style bots. For Civic Defence, I'd say it's more or less going to be pretty close to what you see here in the sample. Looked killer in person, I thought. Cheers -

Toolarmy, is this the MK1 square you were talking about? It came with another square as a set.

Yeah, that's the one. We found there are only 90 sets and they were sold as a raffle. If you've got one and want to sell, let me know!

JEA has a few named bots so its not really weird. The only bots that you'd expect names to be on though didn't have any like Sand Devil and Lunar Camo. The Sand Devil is a real bummer as it's the first bot of theirs to not have a name. Lunar Camo can get a pass since we don't have such a large pool of bots to go off from them. But a named bot to go along side Regolith would of been cool.

Depends on the faction, some like to give their bots names, others not so much. JEA loves to personalize their machines with nametags and such, but others such as Bromwich or NOM prefer to keep things simple; leave bots as bots and that sort of thing.

Those Beast Kingdom Mk1s are some of my favorites, they used to be quite plentiful on the aftermarket, I grabbed a set while they were topical for a good price. Nowadays it seems like they're a bit rare, but I highly recommend them if you have a chance at one. The Hard 30 Mk1 is a beautiful shade of pinkish-red.

per some older WWR intel via Ash- some factions nick name their bots and some dont. JEA does, have seen other JEA bot with nicknames.
giving a bot a nickname helps humanize it some what, helps keep up good relationships with humans in the faction etc
