So, is the 200 non-refundable deposit (or 170 for 3AA) is that just a deposit towards the full 499 price then? I don't fully understand the pricing here. The specs seem the same for each version so my only conclusion is that one is cheaper now as a deposit but I pay the rest later on? Do I have that right?

got Val in the end....been a long wait for this one!! will probably be my last 3A purchase....to many QC issues, this is not a whinge just feedback for a company that i want to succeed in future......plus i did a quick calculation and i realise that over the last few years i have i have spent the GDP of a small pacific Island with the company...time to just enjoy what the ones i have!

By my understanding, you pay the deposit and will be notified 1 month before product ships to pay the remainder. Seems to me the total discount will be the same wether you pay the deposit now and the rest later, it's just in 2 payments. The only real difference I can see is you may be paying 2 slightly different paypal transaction fees, one for each payment installation. Will the total paypal fees be the same for the deposit program as if you were to pay it all in one shot? If anyone has better info about this feel free to correct me.

I saw the TK Hunters were up before I left for work this morning, so I ordered Vali already but had not had a chance to check the boards since then. Now to sit back and wait for the awesomeness to arrive!

If i m not wrong, Paypal fee is applicable only to the seller. So if there is added cost, threeA has kindly absorbed it which is great.

Here is how I calculate this:

It's: 200 (170 for 3AA) deposit

and then closer to shipping: 388 (329,8 for 3AA)

So it's: 588 in total for non-3AA and 499.8 for 3AA

A figure like this is gonna be a repaint for me mkre than likely. More so because I plan on keeping it. I want to add decals and whatnot to match the Popbot universe in my head.

They really ought to include a small TK with it. There is no excuse to the difference in what you buy to pricing.

Deathmask is gonna be hugely rare on the aftermarket judging by the popularity Vali is getting. Better snag one now if you're interested - you'll regret it later!

Nah, deathmask looks a little bland compared to vali. Besides the gloss paint is the main turn off for me and I don't buy these things for based on future rarity. Vali has a lot more of a popbot vibe imo. Heck, I may even paint vali a different color eventually.

Selling the 1/12 DM TK could be a nice way to recoup some funds for those who don't collect the scale, should be a highly sought after AP figure if it truly remains exclusive to this set. TK Hunter will also display well with 1/6 human figs, and DM would look sweet paired with a WWR Deeds Harold for those mixers of worlds.

So things I like about each hunter: Vali I like the quotes, color and weathering. Quotes like "flesh is fuck'd"; "seven ways to die" and "mother to you all" is pretty awesome to find on any figure. It does fit well with color of other bot heads and POPBOT robots and will look nice with classic tks. DM hack Hunter looks awesome as the semi gloss varnish make it appear as if it was metal. It's design is more simple and timeless and will look freaking amazing with the DM tks. For me they are both solid designs however I wish the weapon attached to arm was ball and chain or giant Nage TK weapon like in archer TK posters. I can also see death mask Hunter looking awesome caring a huge bag of skulls. If I had a wish for one more Hunter colorway would be a dirty oil burned chrome like that similar to ultron but then weathered like an old ww2 p51 mustang with battle damage. Also kill markings like 7 bones tattoos would be cool.

I like Vali but I really wish Ash had taken a shot of him with his poncho on like Deathmask is wearing his. It looks like its on backwards? I think... I don't know, it's all twisted up.
