TK HUNTER discussion

I really want to see more colorways of this beast. Ash said that the Mortis apparently have different 'clans' that each have their own colors. So potentially we could get Mortis Hunters in way more varieties than these two if they sell well.

I already have the massive 3AA bot head,... if this thing comes in the door it will be hard to find the right way to get my good standing back with my wife.

Well,... my choice was made easier.
All good all good. I'll just rub that giant bot head three times as I walk by it each day, wishing that the big bots of 3A will continue to be.
And who knows,... maybe future TK Hunters will show up as well.

I surely hope this is used as a gold standard for 3A QC moving forward. It is the largest figure from the flagship IP, Popbot. It has been in development for years but without the detail of other 3A big ticket items, such as the transformers series (not a dig, just observation). An error with this would be a final straw for many existing and recent fans.

This new is good for those who missed out for sure. Wonder how sales are going on these hulking bots? I would assuming they have sold upwards to 300-500 by now, but that might be a overshooting my guess. It would be kinda cool to see how many have been sold as you check out with payment.

Now to wait and wait.

Please 3A, perform quality checks on the line throughout the process before shipping these out.  There will be a holy shitstorm if these aren't executed properly.

I'm kind of worried about the international shipping process wreaking havoc on these long, lanky beasts. Past 3A monsters have been pretty damn indestructible (Large Martin practically has solid chunks of vinyl for arms!) but the switch to ABS may have some unfortunate consequences when it comes to pressure applied to thin parts like the ball joint stems. Of course, if ThreeA does have to ship out any replacement limbs it would be a good day for TK dioramas the world around!

I am not worried about that at all.
I doubt a company who can ship the Ghost-Horse + Blind Cowboy Super Sets without major issues has much trouble decently packaging a huge US$588 robot.

They'll be foam-core packed like the Blind Cowboy sets.

I fear I have to agree.
Not sure Death Mask Hack is thé toy of the last 12 month, but the TK Hunter platform definitely is.

Anyone have good video at the shows of TK hunters? Only few out there.

A question maybe Gregory or Gimbat can answer: anybody know when the remaining payment for the TK hunters will be due? They're slated to ship next month, I sort of assume that means early December. Might want to toss out a heads up for those with tight finances and who might not remember.

We'll put a notice on the blog/newsletter once CS begins contacting Bambaland Customers with the deadline information on the payment due
