Update: I did take fish back and it was a no muss no fuss exchange. Thanks!

The fish was off his stand again, but the shield wasn't broken, so score. When I got home I used tweezers to gentle push him back on the stand. I couldn't get the ball to go all the way into the fish body, but somehow I don't think it was supposed to. If he's not messed with, he looks aces.

Or you can go to an aquarium supply shop and get a closer look at it. What are those square statue thingys? I thought they were game pieces the first time I saw them, until I saw that they are about the size of a regular square. I think.

I recommend everyone to get the Katsuya Terada's take on the monkey story. Dark Horse released them in English a couple of years ago, I wonder how Ash will tackle it, I'm sure it will be wonderful.

The 2 volumes are gold indeed, they are pretty expensive these days, I hope you can find an affordable copy.

Great books if you can get your hands on - a little difficult to navigate the narrative, flashbacks and scene jumping, and the translation struggles to make sense of the Sanskrit, Japanese and Chinese text. Awesome visuals.

I'm glad some light has been shed on Your Fight.

Ash has touched on the meta-narrative stuff before with Adv Kartel "the adventure continues with you…" - Your Fight appears to play out similarly where the statue features a miniature static figure and as seen in the poster above you stand in for, taking on the role of the larger god like figure.

Or perhaps I am reading way to much into this piece.
