Re: Bertie MK2
Received both my DD last week and Monday I can finally open them up and check 'em out. I'm really amped, I've wanted this set in 1/6th for so long (!); really need the rest in my collection... Noir de Plume is going to be so happy!

Re: Bertie MK2
I got into ThreeA because I was scouring the internet for weathered robot figures that weren't just simple toys or do-it-yourself model kits. Nowadays there are lots of options for that sort of product (1000Toys, ThreeZero and Devil Toys being my favorites). WWR still holds a prominent place in my heart, but the competition is strong right now, and I only have so much to spend...

Civic Defense Bertie starts being sent out sometime next week, it was meant to be shipped with the DDv1 one and two, but hit a minor delay.

Curious if it turned out as impressive as the Civic Defence Droppies.

Considering how well the Dirty Deeds are turning out I think the chances are very good!

Re: Bertie MK2
I wasn't very impressed with the sales pics of the first WWR Bertie Mk2.
But it wasn't instant love for the Civic Defence Dropcloth 1.5 until I had one in hand either.

Re: Bertie MK2
Agreed, same with other old WWRp / new 3AGO Bertie Mk2 colorways.
Looking at the gaping hole in my budget (I blame Sinterklaas) I hope further WWR Bertie Mk2 releases will be something in 2016.
So many things on my list it hurts.
Dredd first, though.
If threeA releases the WWRp colorways in 1:6th I wonder if they get the same weapons as the WWRp variants? (Not talking about Dirty Deeds)
I am completely fine if previous Bertie Mk2 colorway variants comes in 1:6th with WWRp like weapon load out but 4 Berties with Gatling guns and maybe 9 with 2 revolvers is maybe a bit restricted.
Especially since the 4 Gatling Berties always have to be posed with a ammo tank on the back.
Would be nice if threeA decides to release these classic colorways (not DD) with some sort of expanded weapon load out. Gatling gun/Ammo Tank + regular engine back pack, revolvers and RPG or new shotgun, or whatever fits. (Bertie SMRTGUN, Glaxton80?)
I wouldn't mind to pay a bit more for more posing options and a more varied look on my shelves.
Still, will buy a Gatling Bertie Mk2 Dutch Merc and Deep Powder variant in a heartbeat.
(a couple of heartbeats)

Re: Bertie MK2
just received my 2nd DD.. all joints tight... tight.. and right feet joint extremely tight! wtf, it's paintlocked like a glue, or glued I don't know.. hairdrying for 15 minutes, hot water, and pouring wd-40 didn't help at all, it's not even budge for 1 mm... and use a bit force, then... this is the result

Ouch! Hate to see this happen, so frustrating when you just got it. I had similar trouble with my DD #1, but I was able to get it moving after awhile. Is this something CS will be able to help you with? I sure hope so...

Re: Bertie MK2
This should be an easy fix for CS..they could just send a new leg/foot - there are a few more of these they are gonna make.

Re: Bertie MK2
yeah, emailed CS this afternoon and they replied "if we have the replacement, we will inform you"... that's not the answer I expected. That's mean if they don't have then no replacement, it's just like that? no way!

Re: Bertie MK2
Yes, exactly that my reply to them, I said that they still produce DD3 so I believe they still have spare.
While waiting, do you guys know any special treatment to remove paintlock/glue? I still want to take out the broken balljoint from feet.

I've used a drill to remove broken paint-locked ball joints before. Just drill and pull.counterfeit wrote:Yes, exactly that my reply to them, I said that they still produce DD3 so I believe they still have spare.

Merged the CS discussion over to the CS thread. If anybody has issues with CS alert us in that thread so the 3A staff on here can follow up.

Re: Bertie MK2
Checking some weapon options for Dirty Deeds and I have to say the Caesar weapons are larger than I expected.
Maybe a bit too big. Still pretty cool imho.
I like oversized weapons
Model is Bertie Mk2 DDv2 Two - Headhunter
I love the increased range of the arms compared to Pegleg Bertie (the Pipebomb / Mk1)
Bertie SMRTGUN (from Dutch Merc Caesar)
(Milkor) MGL (from Jungle Defence Caesar 1.5 Beagle)
CLAXTON80 (from 1G JEA Assault MiM Armstrong)
DDv2 #2 with CLAXTON80, DDv1 #1 and Nom de Plume
Still would be great if we saw a WWR Weapon Pack or some sort of Bambaland Weapon Store with all WWR weapons per piece available for preorder for a couple of months with a fixed shipping / packaging cost, or something like that.
Probably one of the few who would love to get a couple of Bertie SMRTGUNs, Bramble Mk2 Hand Cannons, Bertie Mk3 shotguns (to give Heavy Brambles an easier manageable weapon) and maybe some Dropcloth Grease guns.
Already prepared for some sort of sticker chock.
