Re: Bertie MK2
Hi Legion friends. I'm really on the fence about grabbing #4 since I didn't grab the previous 3. What should I do? Too late to start collecting from this set?
Re: Bertie MK2
As far as weapons go #4 is pretty decent, especially if you don't have any of the others. Even if you don't complete the dozen you can still get a nice little squad with a few of them. It's never too late to start.

Re: Bertie MK2
You have a point about the nice weapons assortment thumbtack, and I do like that it's a pretty huge bot. Very tempting indeed. I think I may go for it My only fear is that once I start, I'll have to get the rest of 'em for sure.
Re: Bertie MK2
Here's my crew so far
I also think 4 is my favourite skull decal so far, with the crack on the left. And with 3 being dirtier than the first two, (which it definitely is upon closer inspection) I hope this trend continues with 4. I always think the dirtier the better when it comes to bots.

^ Great shot!!
#4 is in the bag. These are going to look impressive as a complete set.

I really like the one I picked up, but there's just not enough variety between the figures for me to grab more of them. It kinda bums me out, because they're so cool.

Re: Bertie MK2
I'm looking at #1 & #2 right now, #3 should be delivered tomorrow & I'm trying to figure out if there's enough of a difference to justify another one, not to mention the full 12. Still waiting but I know I'll regret it if I pass.
Everyone will have a different weapons load out but with #4 having two pistols then #2 isn't so unique. I wish 3a would send out a weapon to all who bought #2 just to make him different, he is called the headhunter after all so a large axe would do.

Re: Bertie MK2
So I caved and sacked #4! No regrets. Perhaps I'll go for #5 and the rest if they have some unique quality that sets them apart.
Re: Bertie MK2
Four out of twelve! Let's do this!!
A flame thrower would be a cool main weapon or a huge fckn shotgun

Re: Bertie MK2
Just noticed this in the description, "Fourth of the shitty dozen club!"
Is that just a reference to the fact they are a group of twelve or have they been designated a club (like the TK and AK clubs)? Either way, after having the first three in hand, I'm definitely in for the duration.

Re: Bertie MK2
Not an official club like TK or AK (as in you get a prize if you get them all), just a casual name Ash gave for the Dirty Deeds and those that collect them

I caved and pulled the trigger, doubtful I'll get the full 12. Originally I said I'd be happy just to have one. #1 & #2 are now awaiting the arrival of #3 later today.

Crappy set up I know but this is just a temporary holding area. Anyone in doubt about picking up #4 should know everyone needs at least one of these guys in their collection. WWR perfection!

Re: Bertie MK2
I'm gonna try my best to get the rest...It would be pointless to have a loner in my collection. I'll see how the wife reacts
Re: Bertie MK2
Ha Ha that's how it starts, just one, then maybe a second one, then another, next thing your sitting there wondering where your going to find room for 12.

Re: Bertie MK2
I've only grabbed #1 so far,... like I had said I know that I'm game for at least 2 more. I need a little mini shock squad of Berts.
I'm really holding out for the one I call "Fleur", with all the ornate lines in that face paint. Can't wait to see how the loadouts progress too.
Great squad Skipper!

Re: Bertie MK2
Not sure but, I wonder if the shotgun and grenades 1:3rd Yumiko TQ comes with might be a perfect fit for A DDv2 Bertie Mk2?
[edit]
1:3rd Yumiko TQs FN TPS Shotgun looks to be more human sized than the 1:6th Dropcloth variant 1:6th Yumiko TQ received.
That's a good thing:
Human sized Grunt 1:6th shotgun on 1:12 WWRp Bertie Mk2
1:6th Dropcloth FN TPS Shotgun and 1:6th regular human sized Grunt shotgun on 1:12 WWRp Bertie Mk2
I hope we'll see this as well, no need for an additional revolver or machete...

Re: Bertie MK2
do love my #2, moved it to next to my cpu recently and do find myself staring at the amazing paint alot. spot on to old rusty metal, perfection. also the pvc aspect makes it feel very solid inhand no slight give in body when i turn head like with the vinyls. have whined about not wanting to buy more of the same, in this case the Bertie bot design but when they are this quality it is tempting to get another... will wait for the one with the classic decal from the old bigshot ver, the one wooly mentioned above(the one on the 1/12 bloody ver) and just hope it has a cool weapon load out.
if you havent and you dig WWR get one. wont regret it.
smg is dope but them mini uzis would be bad-ass

My first WWR figure and my second 3A at all.
But what is the story behind WWR? humans against machines?
