Re: Bertie MK2
Thank You. I worked for some other toy designer for a while and said: I will never collect stuff.
Cause I have seen pictures how it ends. Piece next to piece and not giving the single figure room to shine.
Now I work with somebody on own designs and enjoy more the dialogue of creation,
But I always liked the robots from 3A, followed for years and finally I got one. And very happy.

Got my tax return and picked up #4, I originally really wanted #2 but since 4 is on sale now and I have the membership discount that is a no brainer. Oh I can't wait to pose this next to my NOM 4th

Re: Bertie MK2
If your choice was #2 or #4 then it's a no brainer. #4 wins easily, damn these guys are just plain awesomeness. Welcome to the Bertie crew Gundamben.

Re: Bertie MK2
Wide decision Gundamben! And #4 has a great loadout.
Hanging with Nom 4 is the way to go, That's how I've got my DD1 in my fledgling WWR collection

Will look awesome, and if you grabbed Von Nom, the colors will suit each other as well
Re: Bertie MK2
Even though Von NOM is technically searching for Rothchild I kinda wanted to place him with my Digi squad but rethinking that because paired with Von would look dope.

Von Nom will look SICK with the deeds! Planning on making him part of the crew regardless of his lore.

I'm disrupting the natural order of things at the moment. I've got Roth and my Digi crew next to DD #3, gonna move things around eventually but for the moment I like the rest of my display setup so I'm leaving it as is for now.

^^^ Really like the chrome rusted dome and color accents on the arms of WWRp EMGY Bertie.
really hope it sees a 1:6 release.
Same with other Bertie colorways in 1:6.
(Deep Powder, Zwarte Torens, JEA Marines, Medic.)

Very nice! Great to see the original and the new ones side by side. I still love the original one but don't actually have one myself.

Hunngh, look at the perfectness of that OG Bertie hand cannon.
^The politics of placement,.. lol ... we all have our methods.
Yeah,.. I have Shadow Roth on the same shelf as Barg and my Gravedigger Heavy Bram. In the very back though,... in the .... shadows.

Re: Bertie MK2
I just noticed he is still up in the store. Gotta be some kind of record for a WWR fig, right?
Hope it doesn't mean orders are dropping off and interest is waning for the set...

yeah, but as long as our call for "OG" colorways stays unheard, i personally don`t care...
But EMGY/MLTA, Bromwich, Peaceday, DP, MOD,Dutch or Medic would be a no-brainer purchase!
But the cool 3A stuff these days seems to be:
A: Con excl..
B: Suprise secret drops, that dissapear in a blink
C: AA excl.
D. Bundled with other Figures aka pricey (Battlechild Set, Ground Zero Set, AK Sunday Morning Set)
Personally, the twelve Deeds look all the same to me (i know, these are a different in a very subtile weathering way)
and i like the rusty and beaten up colorfull bots (yellow, pinky, white and purple) way more and try to hunt down older bots these days....as the days of new OG`s seems
to be gone forever...
Edit: Imagine a multi colorway sale (like for the Mighties) for the MK2 Bertie...all (happy) hell would break loose!
But speaking for my myself (and noticing the silent/leaving of old 3A Vets these days), the last 2-3 years were very dissapointing and the latest Bots
that blew me away, were aftermarket Caesars, an Armstrong, an MK3 Bertie and a Harold.... only stuff from the old days....
But all the YEARS! of dreaming and talk about more OG colorways, more tri-eye Caesar, new Grunts, MK3.5 Bertie, WWR females or ...taadaa...WWR Superset,
without any action, left me bored and frustrated at the end.... ...and collecting 3A should be joy!

Re: Bertie MK2
Trie-eye Ceasar, New Grunts, Grunt ladies are the thing I am looking for.
I ll pick my color and that it I ll be gone for good .
As pretty different color is if model doesnt really evol it kind it is limit. like the dirty 12 bertie. in concept is fun but its pretty close to buy 12 storm trooper.

Re: Bertie MK2
I personally feel that 3a has become an island that
insulate themselves from their fans.
Products tt pple are very keen on purchasing, they decide
to limit the amount such as the evenfall groundzero, or sell only at some conventions tt few can get their hand on n only profit scalpels.
Therefore I hope 3a will be more receptive to feedback on what pple like before they further loose their fanbase.
Hope threea realises that it is bcoming Easier each year for fans to start spending their hard earn money elsewhere, as more new exciting toy companies sprout out such as 1000toys, deviltoys etc.
Just my thought

Good point!
The "stress sales" (money fucks art.. ) concept and articial scarcity (mostly not even premade drops...just a preorders) are a another pont that gave me a feel
of frustration and that i`m a unwanted customer, and at the end i just didn`t care anymore about new Lines like Evenfall, Death Mask stuff or new colorways like MLTA or the grey Camo figures, because these figures are nearly imposible to get as a complete shelf squad...
To me, it feels like 3A turned from cool "underground" toys to fake elitist releases for the rich, that can travel to cons around the world or didn`t mind about spending 500$ the next day for a suprise drop ! (pardon my speech )
Maybe Ash should cancel all old Lines and focus only on kinky Iso`s, Apples and feets, as he seem to enjoy this stuff more over the last years?
I would be fine with it, as its the right of any artist to do, what the fuck the Kuntsler wants to do!
But for me, the thrill is limplode
Kunstler or Kartoffel?
...for now...butt i still lov3A
