Glad I bought bramble, but really hoping to continue with DD crew... any word on the next release, if at all?

Bummer there wasn’t allot of support for this bot and the Warbot. Love these bots especially the mk2s. Can’t wait for them to ship. Also just scored a 13th Cavalry Commander for a few bones over retail. Bring on the DDV2 Berties!

I fully agree.
We really need more DDv2 Bertie Mk2s and more classic colorway Bertie Mk2's in general.
But we have a dedicated thread for gushing about and pleading for more Bertie Mk2 over there
This is for that other robot.

The time draws near for DP Brambs...it draws near. I haven't cracked open a fresh 3A figure in a long while. Cant wait for this

Oh man, I know what you mean... Opening the fresh Ashtro Decade at Designer Con last month was so pleasing... It had been a while.

Indeed. I would have loved to grab that GID Ashtro. Gotta search the aftermarkets.
Re: Bramble MK2
Just thinking out loud.
Despite the rather disappointing low sales numbers of DP, I wonder if we'll see any future Brambles.
A number of extra Brambles for a pre-made variant colorway release to increase the total production numbers wouldn't be too hard to sell. It has been done before with other (cheaper) releases.
I have no idea what number threeA must built that way and sell of such a colorway to make a profit. 50? 100?
No idea it is a risk threeA could have taken in the current marketplace either.
Just speculating about the options, I am pretty lousy in knowing or seeing what people actually want.
Blind sighted by my own wishes.
I am already really grateful threeA got the opportunity to release this Deep Powder R1 and pretty excited to know it will ship to us.

Re: Bramble MK2
I'm kinda biased to WWR so when I saw this going on sale I thought it would sell bucket loads and was hoping it would be up long enough for me to grab one and I'm damn happy I did. When I see some of the crap other companies put out it's a no brainer. All the Deeds are perfect, Warbot is awesome and this Bramble looks like perfection but I'd still be on for other colourways, I mean it's WWR what's not to like???

To be honest I am still not sure about Supreme Nom and Whitemother.

Re: Bramble MK2
I'm totally with you on that. I passed on both those at the time and even afterwards at good prices. Too much of a Pascha vibe, easy pass.

Re: Bramble MK2
I would think they would need to sell at least 500 of any unit before they start seeing profit.

Re: Bramble MK2
Here's the thing though, adding colorways doesn't pad the numbers like you'd think. Each colorway has to hit the MOQ for the factory. So if the MOQ is 300 and one colorway sells 300 and the other colorway sells 125, it means money is lost

They're older than Isobelle Pascha and friends.
Don't get me wrong, I have them both but I'm just not sure how those pointy heels work in a war situation.
And, although canon, how the outfit (and heels) fit the gritty narrative.

I understand but we've seen large WWR robots with an edition sizes of 40 and 50.
Not sure what the Harolds and Mighty Squares did but I can imagine some colorways didn't even meet that threshold.
Have so many things changed in the past 3 - 4 years that an extra (pre-made) colorway, made during production of a main release,
needs an edition size that much north of 50 or 100 to be profitable?
I hope not.
So if you release 5 colorways of, lets say Classic Berties, is the minimum MOQ 300 per colorway or could there be a total order amount of 1000 or so Berties spread out over 5 colorways?

Re: Bramble MK2
Yup. The factory regulations have changed in the last few years, that even if you're reusing the same molds, each variant has to hit a certain MOQ. It's not about the final amount, it's about what each individual variant sells

I sure hope so!!!!
In 2018 all I bought was Bramble, Warbot and Strollbot.
None of which have shipped yet, I'm in no rush just as long as they get here sometime.

Sorry, had to find the quote from Gregory regarding Bramble and was even thinking I interpreted a comment wrong but here it is,
a snipped from the Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau thread, in reaction to the cancelation of Dresden Frau Dark Parade MS:
gregory wrote:[snip]
Warbot ships somewhere around the end of this month. I'll have a production version on display at Dcon. Ash is working on the Bramble packaging currently.
