Re: Bramble MK2
Right after much back/forth it is done.
Goodbye my Frosty friend I hope to see you again some day soon.
Shipping was over $70 thought! I hope to see that a lot sooner.
Now I can draw a line under it and sit back and wait, I have full confidence in ThreeA.

Re: Bramble MK2
My DP Brambs is on it's way back to HK. Will miss the bloody bugger, but hopefully the weathering and paint job will excel this time around. Now for the wait!
Re: Bramble MK2
Ash is extremely upset about the situation with the Bramble to stay the least. The production sample he was sent looks nothing like what customers are receiving. He sends his gratitude towards the people that reached out to let him know what was going on
Jacky, lead engineer at 3A, recently finished up the revised paint sample and it is currently in approval from Ash

That sounds great Gregory! Can’t wait to see it. Will the sinking of the vinyl around the head be addressed as well Gregory?

Thanks Gregory, as always any info is good info.
Will we get to see the new sample here soon?
Any idea on the turnaround?

That's od, so he didn't receive a production sample, but a custom.
Hopefully we'll get to see the revised paint sample, so we know what to expect.
Wait won't kill me, uncertainty does.
I'll sent my R1 back next Monday.

Re: Bramble MK2
I want to see the revised paint.. I haven't sending back my R1, I have mixed feelings... probably I'm not sending it back, and choose to fix it myself...
I just paid nearly $80 for import tax... if I need to send it back, in the future, I'll need to pay another $80 for import tax again... our customs is don't care if the items are fixed, serviced, or new, or anything.. all they know is this items are coming from outside our country, and they'll slap the tax on it...

Re: Bramble MK2
Here in Ireland if you get caught on tax a second time they will let it go if you can prove it is a replacement. They assume you paid tax on it the first time. Different countries different laws I know.
I can't wait to get mine back, he was so close to perfection, a little bit more time in the weathering shop would have nailed it.
Still hard to believe they showed Ash a finished sample then went and did something different, you would assume the sample Ash would get would be of the finished product. (I'm not doubting that it did happen that way but it's like a bait and switch was pulled on Ash.)
Anyone get a refund on their shipping yet?

Re: Bramble MK2
Got a response from CS regarding shipping refunds:
"Dear Customer,
As we need time to arrange all the refunds, so that we will start the shipping cost refund on around mid of May.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused and hope for your understanding. Thanks!
Best Regards,
ThreeA CS"

Re: Bramble MK2
So I just emailed CS on behalf of those who are expecting a refund on return shipping:
Hello,
I write this response on behalf of all of 3A's loyal fans, including myself, and we respectfully disagree with the timeline for simply refunding return shipping costs for a product that was not produced with excellence. Most of the customers who have sent back the Bramble for repairs, myself included, were inconvenienced by this whole situation by having to use their own money to send back a product that was supposed to be of top notch quality in the first place. Having to spend so much money to ship back a product ($81 in my case) and then be told that we have to wait on a refund for several weeks is preposterous.
This is not the customer service that we expect from a prestigious toy company that should take great care in how customers are treated. Most of the clients that returned the Bramble MK2 did so expediently, and followed 3A's instructions regarding getting the refund for return shipping because we expected the same expediency and promptness. In light of this situation many of the clients are angry, frustrated, and disappointed that a simple refund has to take so long. ThreeA should step up customer service and listen to the fans. In any business situation, the customer is king, and a business should treat their clientele as such when it comes to anything from product repairs, replacements, and refunds.
Please reconsider getting those return shipping refunds out in a prompt manner, show your customers that you care, and allow your reputation to soar. We are your loyal fans and we expect nothing but excellence from ThreeA.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jonathan Padilla

Re: Bramble MK2
Well said Zbrush!!!
I never had to return any of my (hundreds?) of ThreeA purchases before so I wasn't sure how it would work. $70+ is a lot of money to me anyway and I could do with it back a s.a.p.

Just got reimbursed, not sure about the PayPal charges but looks like I got the full amount.
Either way it's much appreciated and now I'm really looking forward to having this guy back, cannot wait!!!!
All good vibes, just hope it doesn't take another year.
