In all honesty, if they can show me how to safely open that area and send me the part to replace it, I would rather fix it myself.

Totally understand that.

Kicker is, there very well may not be a way to easily open it up. They may need to do some kind of disassembly gymnastics just to get to it.

The pain the balls is, it will be sent as a single shipped box via a standard parcel carrier, as opposed to the way 3A distributes them, which is via bulk freight shipping. So it's gonna cost a minor fortune to ship something that big back from the US to China. Sure they'll send it back on their dime, which is admirable, but these are considerations I make before deciding to buy (or not buy) pieces like this these days.

Hopefully there is an easy way in there. Hope it works out for you.

It'll probably be $100 bones to mail that big ass box priority international to China, ems might cost your first born's soul. Not sure what options they provided you yet but I'd either refund first or opt for the exchange/repair route. Either way it's going to cost you to mail it back at this point.

They haven't even gotten back to me yet, so as it stands, i'm no where. If it's too much to send back or too much a hassle, I may break off the other leg and 3D print a base and he can be an articulated torso. Also may try to open him and see if I can 3D print the part or fix it with pins. I'm looking at my options.

They will get back to you for sure. I wish there was a way you could just send back the hips/legs and not have to send back the whole thing. It sucks, but I would wait to see what CS tells you.

I wish i had a reason to get another..lol..Magnus is so cool.

Color scheme on ultra looks nice, though i dig nemesis more. Still, price is just too high with no 3aa discount... 500 edition size seems a lot too compared to nemesis, which started as 300 and dropped down to 200 at bbts.

However, if I knew megatron was a definite release based on the sale of these alternates, I might be more inclined to acquire another of these bots.

I just did. Even asked them if the waist is something I can open and replace the part myself. I've modified enough Hasbro TF's over the years that I can probably figure this one out if I get the replacement part.

nice grats Cthulhu! im tempted by reg and ultra and i wouldnt even consider myself a transformer fan, was as a kid so i think they hit me there.
